The skipper

Marc, a professional skipper,  invite you to embark on their boat for a sailing cruise under the Caribbean sun.

What is your motto ?

In life ! Be happy!

How did you come to do this job?

My journey in becoming a skipper was unusual, because I came from a middle-class family and was fatherless at 8 years old. I remember saying to myself the following when I was 18 (1971): A Sailing instructor, but you don't think there's no career prospects! . So I studied and became a sales executive, CEO and senior manager for 35 years. But, with the children raised, I then decided to leave the business and to sign up at the age of 53 to the Maritime High School of La Rochelle to pass the Captain 200 sailing exam. Finally I realised MY DREAM.

What people say about you?

You'll have to ask them!

Life on a journey

Your best memory ?

My best cruising memory is in 2001, that year with my 3 children (23, 19 and 14 years) and a friend of my daughter. We set sail to the Azores Islands from Brest. Together 5 weeks a year, we had been sailing for 15 years, and 2001 was the high point we had all dreamed of!!!! .. more than that.

For you, what is a successful sea trip?

Une quantité de grands et petits bonheurs

Your style of practice?

To share my passion with both old and young, not to mention that a holidaymaker may not be passionate. My programmes are adaptable, because my charter experience has shown that some clients want to sail 2 hours a day while others want to do 6. Others like stopping for fun at sea and others want to stop in a port to go shopping. So, completely customisable As for those who want to take part in the boating manoeuvres, and in the same spirit, for the one who want to, I am here to help them
