Your dive Training Leeward Islands
Get your first level of diving with the internationally recognized PADI Open Water Diver certification! During these 6 training dives and a theoretical training, diving in Bora Bora will have (almost) no more secrets for you!
The Open Water Diver training in the center of Bora Bora can be done in 3 or 4 days, although the 4-day formula is recommended. For the 3-day course, you will do a dive on the first day, in the afternoon, usually as a first dive or a release. The second day will be quite busy with three dives on the program, two in the morning and one in the afternoon. The third day will consist of 2 dives, one of which will serve as a test in the morning. For the 4-day course, the first and last day remain the same, with 1 and 2 dives on the program respectively. There will be only 2 dives on the second day in the morning, and one dive on the third day in the afternoon. The dives will be punctuated by theoretical sessions, before and after the launch. You will leave Bora Bora with your lifetime certification and logbook.
Anau
In the lagoon, this very popular dive site of Bora Bora offers the chance to swim among the rays mantas, as they are so graceful. The wall is very rich in corals and other small fishes. Anau, with its shallow plateau, is perfect for a try dive.
Toopua
This other dive site in the lagoon is home to leopard rays and clown fishes. But above all this diving is made in a beautiful shallow coral garden, next to a coral drop, satisfying divers of any level.
Bora Bora aquarium
This dive spot deserves its name! The water is transparent and filled with fishes: it's like being in a giant aquarium! The site is shallow, up to 5 meters which allows you to swim among the fishes for your try dive, snorkeling or any other type of dive.
Tapu
Outside the reef, go to Tapu where two very interesting dive sites are nestled (Tapu Nui and Tapu Canyons), both in terms of flora and underwater fauna. Indeed, the divers can explore the ubiquitous coral, where reef fishes have taken up residence like groupers, clown fishes and parrotfishes. But above all, you will come across lemons sharks and black tip sharks!
