EXPERIENCE 1 : Rum and accras

During your West Indies cruise, taste local specialties in many restaurants and island bars. Savor cod fritters, Creole specialty, and enjoy these small donuts served as an aperitif or as an appetizer. Over the years, the accras have diversified, you will be able to test crispies with lobster, tuna, sea urchins or shrimps! Do not hesitate to buy local products and enjoy them during your cruise at sea.

Finally do not miss the liquor that is famous in the West Indies: Rum. Test this production which offers a variety of tastes and flavors, to consume with moderation. Our
advice

Sailing in the West Indies is a dream come true! This region is perfect to enjoy the sun, go for a swim in a water always warm and enjoy amazing landscapes. It is also a good place for beginners in order to discover navigation in the best conditions. Some areas are particularly adapted to sailing: Guadeloupe, Grenadines islands or the Virgin Islands. Keep in mind that the journey rom Martinique to the Grenadines or around the Virgin Islands can be tumultuous. A good sailing experience is requiered if you don't choose to cruise with a professional skipper.

The West Indies is the perfect place to spend winter! The temperature is always very nice wether it is in the water or outside. Just beware because the rainy season takes place in august and september. Therefore we recommend not sail there at that time because of the cyclone risk.
