Your possible stops during this cruise

Come discover our 5-day trimaran sailing course departing from La Rochelle!
Please note: “The itinerary will depend on weather conditions, your preferences, and those of your skipper.”

Set sail from La Rochelle for a sailing course aboard a trimaran and explore the Atlantic coastline!
Boarding at 4 p.m. and disembarking at 9 a.m. in La Rochelle.
The route will be determined based on the weather, sailing conditions, and the preferences of the crew and skipper. The different stops listed below are therefore possibilities and may be adjusted during the trip.

The itinerary may include several sailing trips:
1) Exploring the Charente Islands
Set sail for the islands of Ré, Oléron, and Aix—three must-see destinations in the Pertuis d’Antioche. Stops will be organized with tides and weather conditions in mind. Depending on the route chosen, you’ll have the chance to explore La Flotte, Saint-Martin-de-Ré, Ars-en-Ré, Saint-Denis-d’Oléron, Le Douhet, or Boyardville.

2) Heading to the Vendée or Île d’Yeu
Depending on the weather and the group’s preferences, the cruise may continue toward the Vendée coast, with possible stops at Bourgenay, Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, or Les Sables-d’Olonne. Another option: set course for Île d’Yeu and enjoy its many anchorages.

3) Return to La Rochelle
After exploring the various islands and the Vendée coastline, you’ll gradually head back toward La Rochelle. This leg of the voyage will give you the chance to put the skills you’ve learned during the course into practice and gain more independence on board.

Throughout the trip, you’ll learn more about sailing, harbor maneuvers, weather, and life on board, guided by your skipper.
The program is designed to prepare participants for a variety of goals, whether it’s renting a boat, buying their own, joining a crew for a cruise, or simply enjoying sailing in complete safety.
A personalized option also allows you to choose from different boats and receive coaching tailored to your preferred dates.trimaran
