Your cruise

Set sail from Ajaccio

Depart Ajaccio for a seven-day sailing course to the Lavezzi Islands, aboard a 13.30-meter Feeling 446. Sailing along the Corsican coast, you'll reach one of the most remarkable archipelagos in the Mediterranean, between anchorages, sea legs and the discovery of an exceptional natural environment.
This course is first and foremost a sailing experience: everyone will be able to take part in life on board, maneuvering and steering the yacht, supervised by a skipper. The itinerary will take you as far as the Lavezzi Islands, but will be organized according to sea and weather conditions, so that you can sail in the safest possible conditions.

Your possible stops during this cruise

Here's your program for your 7-day sailing course in Corsica.
This program is given as an indication and may be modified according to weather conditions, the skipper's recommendations and safety requirements.

Getting to grips with the boat from Ajaccio.
After settling in on board and a safety briefing, you'll discover the boat, how it works and how life is organized as a crew. The first tacks in the Gulf of Ajaccio, around the Sanguinaires Islands, will introduce you to the helm, sail trim and basic maneuvers.

Progress towards southern Corsica.
As you sail south, you'll gradually get to grips with steering the boat: changing speed, holding course, tacking and preparing anchorages. The sectors of Cala di Farru, Murtoli and Roccapina can mark out this descent to Bonifacio.

From Bonifacio to the Lavezzi Islands.
Arrival in the Bonifacio sector is the first step in preparing for sailing in the Bouches de Bonifacio: weather observation, route selection, crew watch and coordination. We then set course for the Lavezzi Islands, the course's main destination, where we put into practice what we've learned over the first few days.

Return to Ajaccio and consolidate what you've learned.
Sailing back to Ajaccio allows you to reinforce your autonomy on board, still supervised by the skipper: taking part in maneuvers, sail trimming, preparing anchorages and organizing the crew. When conditions and the pace of the course allow, you can also consider sailing to the La Maddalena archipelago in Sardinia.
