Your possible stops during this cruise
BOARDING IN AJACCIO
Boarding takes place at 5:00 p.m. in Ajaccio, the starting point for your cruise along the west coast of Corsica. After boarding, François, your skipper, will show you around the catamaran and go over the safety instructions before setting sail. There are two possible sailing routes, depending on the crew’s choice: heading north to Calvi or sailing south to Bonifacio. The itinerary remains flexible and can be adjusted with François based on the group’s preferences, sea conditions, and the weather.
HEADING NORTH:
As you sail up the Corsican coast, you’ll make your first stop in Cargèse before continuing on to the Scandola Nature Reserve. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it offers spectacular views from the sea of cliffs, volcanic rocks, and crystal-clear waters. You’ll then set course for the Calanques de Piana, another iconic site on the west coast. The cruise will continue toward Galéria and Crovani Bay before reaching Calvi. A stopover will give you the chance to explore its famous citadel before beginning the return voyage. You’ll disembark in Ajaccio around 5:00 p.m.
Throughout the cruise, François will also invite you to help with the maneuvers and teach you the basics of sailing: handling the helm, trimming the sails, operating the rigging… Everyone can get involved according to their skill level and interests.
HEADING SOUTH:
As you set sail south, you’ll cruise along the rugged coast of Southern Corsica and enjoy several anchorage options in the coves of Pointe de Sénétose. Whether swimming in the turquoise waters, relaxing on board, or exploring the coastline, the crew will be able to fully enjoy these stops surrounded by nature. The voyage can then continue toward Porto Pollo, followed by Tizzano, a small marina and fishing port with authentic charm. A stopover here offers the chance to sample local specialties and enjoy lunch overlooking the harbor. As you continue on your way, you’ll be able to see the Murtoli estate, Arbitu Bay, and the Lion of Roccapina from the sea before reaching Bonifacio. Perched on its limestone cliffs, the city is a must-see stop to explore its heritage and famous citadel. After this stop, the catamaran will set sail back, with disembarkation scheduled in Ajaccio around 5:00 p.m.
