Your cruise

Set sail from Sète harbour

Have an extraordinary experience on board an Ultim racing maxi trimaran departing from Sète!
For a whole day, sail on board a vessel which has brought home an impressive list of prizes, and experience the real feelings of high speeds at sea.
Winner of the Route du Rhum in 2006, 4th place in 2010, this multihull also brought home the Corsica Sailing Grand Prix in 2004 and came second in the Jacques Vabre transatlantic race in both 2003 and 2007...
What more have you ever dreamed of! The ex Gitana 11 Edmond de Rothschild will allow you to experience the extraordinary, intense sensations that only a true racing yacht can offer. This day of sailing is ideal for those who want a baptism in racing boats.

Your possible stops during this cruise

The meeting point is set for 10am in the port of Sète.
After presenting the boat, the skippers will explain the rules for safety at sea to you and will brief you on the day's itinerary. They will then hand out sailing jackets and trousers. Departure is scheduled for 10.40am, at the time of the bridge openings.
Ready to experience a truly epic journey, you'll then leave for 6.5 hours of intense sailing. During this extraordinary day, you'll discover the intoxicating feeling of high speeds at sea, and the sensations of sailing on a hull. So much emotion will build up your appetite. So lunch is planned on board!

This master of the sea will leave you with unforgettable experiences. Led by a team of three professional skippers, you'll have the opportunity to take part in all of the sailing stages. According to the weather conditions, this Ultim trimaran training will give you the chance to familiarise yourself with different manoeuvres: hoisting the sails using the winch crank, steering or even controlling the sails' tension with the winch. You are guaranteed to feel something!

Whether you're beginners or experienced sailors, the professional skippers can adapt to any level. The team will assist you in all manoeuvres for maximum safety.

During this journey on board the ex Gitana 11 Edmond de Rothschild, you'll sail towards Camargue until the Eastern Pyrenees. In particular you'll pass by Port-Camargue, Sainte-Maries-de-la-mer, Cap d'Agde and Collioure. There are no stops on land planned as this is a day dedicated exclusively to sailing. The Vermilion Coast does, however, offer you incredible views. If the weather conditions allow it, and if you want to do it, you can also do speed runs. Experience extraordinary rushes of emotion!

Just like departure, return to the port is scheduled for the opening of the bridges at 6.40pm.
