Your cruise
For more than 25 years, Gilles has been organizing and supervising training courses in habitable sailing in Brittany and around the North Atlantic.
From October 2025 to May 2026, we offer a program of coastal and offshore training aboard a fast, seaworthy sailboat designed for high-speed sailing: the cruising-equipped Pogo 40. Pleasure at the helm guaranteed.
The courses are open to a limited number of participants (4 people) in order to meet individual needs.
Coastal training courses are designed to give you the skills you need to steer a cruising yacht within sight of the coast.
Whatever your level, you'll be asked to prepare and sail a course as skipper under the watchful eye of your skipper/trainer.
Some may also opt for a more contemplative sailing experience.
Offshore training courses provide experience of the open sea: preparation, organization on board and participation in decision-making. The emphasis is on safety: equipment, satellite communications, weather information, skipper experience and caution.

Pogo 40 - 12.18 meters
The Pogo 40 is the cruising version of the first Class 40s built by the Structure shipyard in Saint-Marine, Finistère. Seaworthy, simple and fast, it combines the pleasure of sailing a regatta boat with the pleasure of a cruising yacht.
Equipped with 2 double cabins and a single cabin, it accommodates 4 passengers on a cabin cruise and 6 passengers in a private group.
If cabins are occupied, the skipper sleeps in the middle
The skipper helps you to cook but everybody is participating
I manage the supply before departure ot passengers can do it, they choose.

Bus, train, plane, boat
Very interesting. We learned a lot of things. The technique of navigating, reading maps etc.
Gilles is an excellent instructor. He knows what he's talking about and he's didactically strong. And just as important: he has a sense of humor.
