Your cruise
From Palamos on the Costa Brava, sail and discover the coves and beauty of these idyllic landscapes.
Your possible stops during this cruise
You have an appointment with Gerard at the port of Palamos around 10am
After installation, briefing and confirmation of the week's program, you will sail to discover the coasts of the Costa Brava. Here is an indicative program for a week of cruising
Day 1: Departure from Palamos, after a navigation from 3 to 4 hours, you will anchor in the Medes Islands. After lunch, you can enjoy the site for a swim and discover the fauna and aquatic flair in snorkeling. After this aquatic afternoon, you will reach the port of l'Estartit to spend the night
Day 2: Head for Cadaques and its magnificent coves, about 2 and 3 hours of sailing. Cadaques has retained all the charm of a fishing village, thanks to the isolation its inhabitants experienced after the last years of the 19th century. In its narrow, sloping streets, you will find small souvenir shops and welcoming restaurants. A change of scenery with a lot of charm
Day 3: Heading for Llafranc, at 2h 2H1/2 of sailing time. After a coastal navigation, you will have the opportunity to discover Llafranc which belongs to the municipality of Palafrugell. Near the marina, you can make an excursion to the Sant Sebastià lighthouse, in the mountain just behind. Next to the lighthouse, there is an 18th century hermitage and hotel converted into a hotel-restaurant, also equipped with a magnificent belvedere.
4th day : Head for Platja d'Aro, about 2 hours away by boat. After a day of sailing, relax and enjoy the lively and touristic life of Platja d'Aro
5th day : Heading for Blanes, about 2 hours' sailing time. After your day under sail, you will enjoy the stopover in Blanes, the most important municipality in the southern Costa Brava, known as the gateway to the Costa Brava. Its beautiful coves and beaches have made it a very touristic place, one of the greatest attractions is its botanical garden Marimurtra, created by the German entrepreneur Carl Faust and which presents 3,000 species from all over the world. The garden is located near the port, so there is no excuse not to visit this botanical paradise
6th day : Heading towards Sant Feliu de Guíxols, about 3 to 4 hours away by boat. After a day of sailing and anchoring in the creeks, you will reach this old fishing village, which is now one of the most important municipalities on the Costa Brava. Some say that it was here that the journalist and politician Ferran Agulló was inspired to create the name "Costa Brava", more precisely by enjoying the views from the hermitage of Sant Elm, perched on a 99-metre cliff overlooking the sea. In summer, there is the Festival de la Porta Ferrada, where internationally renowned companies and artists come to perform
7th day: return to Palamos, about 1h30 away from the port. After enjoying the most beautiful coves around Palamos, return to the port in the late afternoon with plenty of sailing memories!
