- Places of embarkation:Paros Marina, Cyclades Islands
- Boarding time:18h00 / 6PM
- Time of landing:10h00 / 10AM
There are several options for reaching Paros:
- The most common option is to fly into Athens a day early, then take the ferry to Paros on Saturday morning (the journey takes 3 to 5 hours, depending on the boat).
Paros airport: Although it is currently being expanded, Paros' small airport does not yet handle international flights. However, Paros is served daily from Athens, so you may want to consider a connection from Athens International Airport.
- Another option is to land in Mykonos or Santorini (both islands have international airports), then take a ferry to Paros. Allow less than an hour by ferry from Mykonos and two hours from Santorini.
Amazing sites, beautiful dives (not a great amount of marine life, but great landscapes and caves), discovering the lesser cyclades and some of the last (almost) untouched paradise islands, all in great company - Sotiris the captain and Mike the divemaster. We had a fantastic time!
Bit of confusion at the start to meet up but that is all, otherwise smooth organization.
The dolphin family (a couple and their baby) that stayed with us for nearly 30mn while we sailed to Iraklia...! And of course, the 2 fantastic days at Amorgos....
We had a super trip on the Cyclades we have had the chance to visit. Our captain Sotiris is a man we want to follow on cruise since we felt from the beginning that he is a true captain and a sea lover. We follow him and his advice to live like a big family on the boat, with intelligence. He adjusted the trip on the islands depending the weather and our feeling on the boat, Which was very mindful. The islands for Cyclades are amazing and the sea so clear . Our trip was with scuba diving everyday in compagnie of our instructor Elina with whom we felt very safe. We saw a lot and learnt a lot on the sea biodiversity and the Mediterranean since she is also a marine biologist . It was a family trip with 2 teenagers. Such a good experience for all of us. It was difficult to leave the crew and Nikos, the compagnon with whom We share the boat.
Sotiris is very cultivated and humble. He is very respectful of everybody and everything. He is in osmosis’s with the wind and nature.
The day when the boat get fast and I saw rainbow in the wave, then going to see a beautiful cave full of Color, take a hot shower, be comfy around a wonderful grec meal on the tavern and then take the dinghy (zodiac) and admire the sky on the way back to the boat.
