A total immersion in the marine world between Ischia and Ventotene, where the landscape becomes a medium for knowledge and respect.
This cruise is an educational and ecological experience, with marine biologists on board. You'll take part in research and awareness-raising activities: observation of cetaceans, turtles, seabirds, recording of marine sounds via hydrophones, water quality monitoring. Passengers will also learn the basics of sailing and actively participate in maneuvers and scientific activities. The data collected will contribute to scientific research and environmental preservation.
Your possible stops during this cruise
Day 1 - Saturday: Welcome aboard and first sounds of the sea
The adventure begins between 2:00 and 4:00 pm at Marina Porto Salvo, on the island of Ischia. Your skipper and crew welcome you aboard for a convivial aperitif. After settling in and a safety briefing, the boat leaves the harbor for Cartaromana Bay, famous for its turquoise waters and view of the Aragonese Castle. This is where your scientific immersion begins: presentation of underwater listening instruments, scouting of observation zones, first acoustic recordings. The evening ends at anchor, in the calm of unspoilt nature.
Day 2 - Sunday: Secret cliffs and the charm of Ventotene
After breakfast on board, we head south for the Bay of Scarrupata. This wild cove, accessible only by sea, is ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Its volcanic cliffs and clear waters make it a spectacular place for a morning stopover. In the afternoon, sail to Ventotene, a small island steeped in history, nicknamed "Pandataria" by the Greeks. on arrival, stopover in the harbor, depending on conditions. Free time to explore the village, visit the Migration Museum or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this unspoilt island.
Day 3 - Monday: Cetacean watching and participatory science
A day dedicated to scientific research. Accompanied by marine biologists, you'll take an active part in observation missions: spotting dolphins, sea turtles and pelagic birds. using hydrophones, you can listen to the sounds of the sea and pick up on cetacean communications. In the afternoon, you're free to swim, relax on board or take part in other activities. This day combines discovery, contribution to research and an authentic connection with the marine environment.
Day 4 - Tuesday: Sailing to Ponza
We set sail for Ponza, the liveliest and most colorful of the Pontine Islands. During the crossing, passengers are invited to take part in on-board maneuvers and observations at sea. The crew share their knowledge of sailing and the migratory routes of marine species. on arrival, free exploration of Ponza: its pastel houses, steep streets and discreet coves make this an unforgettable stopover. Overnight at anchor or in port, depending on conditions.
Day 5 - Wednesday: The wild island of Palmarola
Morning short sail to Palmarola, considered one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean. Completely uninhabited, it offers spectacular scenery: sculpted cliffs, sea caves and emerald waters. The stopover is dedicated to relaxation, bathing and contemplation. Palmarola is also an ideal site for further environmental observations and a final immersion in the living heart of Mediterranean nature.
Day 6 - Thursday: Return to Ischia and coastal navigation
We begin our return trip to Ischia, with the option of calling at Ventotene for a swim or lunch on board. The crossing passes through the Banco d'Ischia, an area renowned for its cetacean-watching. If we're lucky, dolphins may accompany us. At the end of the day, we anchor in one of Ischia's most beautiful bays, such as Sorgeto or Citara. Last dinner on board, a time for exchanging and sharing experiences.
Day 7 - Friday: Disembarkation at Ischia Porto
After a leisurely breakfast, we make our way to Marina Porto Salvo. Disembarkation takes place between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. End of cruise.
