Itinerary for Your Half-Board Catamaran Vacation in the Ionian Islands
The itinerary is subject to weather conditions and may therefore be modified.
DAY 1: Boarding in Lefkada
Upon your arrival at the marina, you’ll meet your professional skipper, who will accompany you throughout your cruise (meet at 5:00 p.m.). Once introductions are made, luggage is unpacked, and safety rules are reviewed, we’ll set sail for Sivota on the island of Lefkada. Once we arrive, you can enjoy your first swim in the turquoise waters before dinner or simply relax on board with a cocktail. The evening will be a chance to explore the traditional taverns.
DAY 2: Ithaca
To start the day, a stop at the Blue Caves is a must—there you can explore the crystal-clear waters. After a pleasant sail, we’ll spend the afternoon on the magnificent beach at Tilemachos before heading to Vathy, the legendary port of the island of Ithaca, also known as “the home of Odysseus.” It’s a peaceful island, ideal for relaxing and enjoying a slower pace of life. Some dishes prepared by local taverns remain true to the time-honored recipes of a bygone era. We highly recommend giving them a try!
DAY 3: Sami – Kefalonia
After leaving Vathy, we’ll make our first stop in a beautiful bay for a morning swim and breakfast on board. We’ll then set sail for Sami, where you can enjoy a variety of activities and explore the famous Melissani underground caves. For the more adventurous, rent a scooter to explore Myrtos Beach or Assos, enjoy a wine tasting, or go scuba diving. In the evening, we’ll moor right in the port of Sami, surrounded by restaurants and bars, for a Mediterranean-style evening.
DAY 4: Fiscardo – Kefalonia
Another exceptional day awaits us. Depending on your preferences, we can spend the day at the spectacular White Pebble Beach before dropping anchor for the evening in the peaceful bay of Foki. For those who wish to explore Fiscardo, we’ll set out early to arrive before the crowds and fully enjoy this charming coastal village. In the evening, Fiscardo will be the perfect place to dine at one of its many restaurants and soak up its Mediterranean atmosphere.
DAY 5: Meganisi
Today we’ll head to Spartochori, in the north of Meganisi Island. After a hearty breakfast, we’ll make our first stop for a swim in front of the coast’s impressive white cliffs, which overlook the sea with its myriad shades of blue. After lunch, you’ll head to Desimi Beach. To round out the day, you’ll have dinner in Porto Spilia, surrounded by a quintessentially Greek atmosphere.
DAY 6: Kalamos
You’ll sail toward the Papa Nicholas Caves. Legend has it that this was a secret hideout during World War II for the Italian military submarine Papanikolis. You’ll also discover a few hidden coves accessible only by sea. At the end of the day, we’ll head to Kalamos, a charming little fishing village where you can experience Greek hospitality and enjoy a convivial evening at a traditional taverna.
DAY 7: Lefkas
Last day of sailing, heading toward one of the Ionian Sea’s secret coves! Then, we’ll head back to Lefkas Marina. We’ll enjoy the archipelago’s turquoise waters, the scenery, and the final views of the coastline. For our last evening, we’ll have dinner on board. This will be a chance to share your favorite memories of the trip and enjoy one last sunset over the Ionian Sea before getting ready to depart the next morning.
DAY 8: Disembarkation in Lefkas
After one last breakfast, it will be time to disembark around 9:00 a.m. and bring this incredible week to a close.
