Your cruise

Set sail from Fort Louis Marina, Saint Marteen

Set sail on a nautical adventure in the heart of the Caribbean aboard a sailboat equipped for long-distance cruising, departing from Saint Martin. From sailing lessons to exploring the islands and immersing yourself in the local culture, enjoy the turquoise waters of the Caribbean and its lush natural beauty. With over 25 years of sailing experience in the Caribbean, your skipper will share his passion for sailing and the joy of being out on the water.
Whether you’re traveling alone, as a couple, or with friends, enjoy an authentic experience that combines learning, escape, and the discovery of the treasures of the Northern Islands: the idyllic beaches of Anguilla, the unspoiled landscapes and nature reserve of Saint Barthélemy, or the laid-back lifestyle of Saint Kitts.

Your possible stops during this cruise

Here is your itinerary for this introductory sailing trip to St. Barths and St. Kitts from Saint Martin!
*This itinerary is subject to change depending on weather conditions.

Depending on weather conditions, we’ll set sail from St. Martin toward Anguilla, the island of St. Barths, and St. Kitts. The sailings, which are generally short, will allow you to make the most of our stops to explore the islands, relax on the beaches, go for a swim, or discover the underwater world while snorkeling. We’ll spend most nights at anchor or moored to a buoy, in accordance with local regulations.

Exploring the Islands:
St. Martin, our starting point, is an island with a rich blend of influences, renowned for its beaches, sheltered anchorages, and warm atmosphere. Anguilla, wilder and more peaceful, charms visitors with its long white-sand beaches and turquoise waters. Saint Barthélemy, elegant and authentic, offers magnificent coves, charming villages, and stunning coastal landscapes. Finally, Saint Kitts immerses us in a more tropical atmosphere, with lush vegetation, volcanic landscapes, and a rich historical heritage.

Learn While Sailing:
As a state-certified sailing instructor and professional skipper, holding a Captain 200 sailing license, I’ll offer you a fun and educational approach to sailing.

On the agenda:
Planning routes on nautical charts, using traditional instruments (Cras ruler, bearing compass, dry-point compass), interpreting weather reports, and keeping a logbook. The goal is to learn to sail by understanding the fundamentals, with little or no electronic assistance. Life on board is an integral part of the learning experience: maneuvers, sail selection, safety, meal planning, provisioning, and boat maintenance. A truly participatory cruising experience designed to help you gain independence while discovering the joys of sailing.
To prepare for your course, I recommend consulting a few reference books, such as the Cours des Glénans or the Code Vagnon de la voile, to familiarize yourself with nautical terminology.

Nou kontan wè zot! (“We’re delighted to welcome you!”)
