Your possible stops during this cruise
Itinerary of your Large Catamaran Cruise from the Calanques to Porquerolles, from Marseille
The information provided below is for information purposes only. This itinerary is subject to change, depending on the weather and your desires of course
DAY 1 : Boarding at the port of Marseille (Corbières)
Meet at the port of Marseille at 3pm to meet your skipper and get ready for your cruise. Departure at the end of the afternoon and anchorage in the calanques.
DAY 2 : Morgiou, Sormiou and En Vau
Morgiou and Sormiou are distinguished by their stony, sloping banks covered with green scrub. Protected by the natural shelter provided by the creeks, the boat will be able to avoid the Mistral wind and anchor in one of the most beautiful landscapes of Provence. The Calanque d'En Vau will open to you after passing the Pointe de Castel Viel, it is reputed to be the most beautiful between Marseille and Cassis! It is distinguished by its crystalline waters, pierced by large stone needles. This incredible scenery is one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean and is particularly appreciated for anchoring
DAY 3 : Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer and Six Fours
Whether it is the Madrague Beach and its aquarium or the Port d'Alon, Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer is worth a visit. The marine fauna and flora of the Calanque du Port d'Alon is impressive, offering great opportunities for snorkeling
DAY 4 : Porquerolles
It's time to set sail for the Golden Islands, (also known as the Hyères Islands), which are very well preserved. This is particularly the case for Porquerolles, your next port of call, recognized since 2012 as a national park. The island lends itself particularly well to relaxing in the sun, in a rich and green environment. It is possible to sleep in the port, linked to the small village on the island
DAY 5 : Port-Cros
Then go on to Port-Cros, an emblematic island, especially for its seabed, and its walks. It is indeed the wildest and the most preserved of the Golden Islands, enjoy it!
DAY 6 : Calanques National Park
Here you are back in the Calanques! After passing Cape Devenson, the shoreline forms a real wall for about a kilometre. Once you arrive at the Calanque de Devenson, you can anchor between the blocks of stone (called "Dromedaries"), coming from the heights. You will head towards Sugiton, an uninhabited cove, difficult to access and therefore perfectly preserved. You will be able to admire its beauty from the deck of the boat
DAY 7: Château d'If, Frioul Islands and back to Marseille (Corbières)
The Castle of Yew, originally built under Francis I, is known to have been the prison where the protagonist of the novel by Alexandre Dumas, the "Count of Monte Cristo", is isolated. Once past the castle, you can enjoy a last stop in the creeks of the Friuli Islands and admire its marine fauna, which is particularly rich. You will then set sail for the port of Marseille, after a week of discoveries
