Your possible stops during this cruise
Itinerary for your offshore sailing course exploring the Isles of Scilly, departing from Aber-Wrac'h:
*This itinerary is for reference only and may be adjusted depending on weather conditions. The route may therefore change as the voyage progresses.
You’ll depart from the port of Aber-Wrac’h for a roughly 20-hour crossing of the English Channel, heading toward the Isles of Scilly. This overnight voyage will give you the opportunity to learn about night sailing and take part in watch duty on board—a rewarding experience that will help you hone your skills at sea.
Upon arrival in the archipelago, you’ll have some time to rest before setting out to explore the Isles of Scilly. You’ll be able to sail between the various islands—including St. Mary’s, Tresco, St. Martin’s, and St. Agnes—and spend some time ashore exploring this archipelago with its unspoiled landscapes, featuring white-sand beaches, wild coves, and small island villages.
Depending on weather conditions and the time available, a sail to the coast of Cornwall in England may also be considered. However, this stop will depend on the weather and how the cruise unfolds.
You’ll then set sail again for the return crossing to Brittany, heading to the port of Aber Wrac’h, where your maritime adventure will come to an end.
If weather conditions do not permit sailing to the Isles of Scilly, the skipper will offer an alternative: a tour of Brittany, the itinerary for which will be determined with him based on sailing conditions.
