This winter: off to the Canaries!
A 3-stage delivery trip between La Rochelle and the Canaries, with offshore sailing and watchkeeping on the agenda. it's up to you to join the crew for the leg of your choice - you can of course take part in one, two or even all three legs.
Your possible stops during this cruise
Set course for a sailing convoy from La Rochelle to the Canaries via Lisbon and Madeira!
The itinerary will depend on weather conditions.
2023 - 2024 season schedule: DELAYED / FULL
Outward journey:
- La Rochelle → Lisbon: 10/21 to 10/27/23.
- Lisbon → Madeira: 28/10 to 03/11/23.
- Madeira → Lanzarote: 04/11 to 10/11/23.
Return trip:
- Lanzarote → Madeira: 10/02 to 16/02/24.
- Madeira → Lisbon: 02/17 to 02/23/24.
- Lisbon → La Rochelle: 24/02 to 03/03/24.

Program:
DAY 1 - SATURDAY:
Meet at 10:00 am on Saturday morning for embarkation. Meet the crew, settle aboard the yacht and head off to the races for provisioning under the expert guidance of your skipper. Indeed, maritime tradition dictates that the skipper is fed by the crew.
Once back on board, you'll be briefed on the rules of life and safety, and then it's off to hoist the sails!
DAYS 2 TO 6 - SUNDAY TO THURSDAY :
Live a unique convoying experience, enjoy deep-sea sailing, stand watch and share team spirit for the duration of a leg. During the convoy, you'll sail day and night, with a few nights at anchor.
DAY 7 - FRIDAY :
Already on the last day of your delivery leg, enjoy the last moments of ocean sailing before disembarking at around 5:00 pm. This is your chance to take in the sights: cultural visits, culinary tastings, souvenir shopping - the choice is yours!
Afterwards, you can either rejoin the yacht for a new convoying adventure, or leave and thank the crew for this rich experience.
please note: convoying is reserved for intermediate to advanced sailors. If you'd like to take part in more than one stage of the convoy, please contact us (the price is degressive if you take part in more than one stage).
PS: you're welcome to bring one of your local culinary specialities to share with the crew - it's one of our traditions ;)

If cabins are occupied, the skipper sleeps in the middle

I do not manage supply. Passengers bring it or buy what they need.

La Rochelle:
We recommend car, carpool or train (remember to book your tickets as early as possible!).
Lisbon:
We recommend flying from Paris to Lisbon (approx. 2.5 hours flight time), then taking a cab to the port (20-minute journey).
Madeira :
We recommend that you fly from Paris to Funchal - FNC (on Madeira Island) in around 3 hours 35 minutes, and take a cab to the port (25-minute journey).
Lanzarote:
We recommend flying from Paris to Arrecife (on the island of Lanzarote), which takes around 3 hours 45 minutes. From there, take a cab to the port (25-minute journey).
