You will alternate between short sailings to change anchorage and longer sailings that will allow you to change islands. Your possible stops during this cruise
Below, you will find an itinerary of what could be your sailing course between Martinique and Dominica in 6 days on a Sun Fast 42. This program can be modified according to the weather and your wishes.
NB: in case the health situation does not allow access to Dominica. An alternative itinerary from Pointe-à-Pitre will be proposed to you in order to sail in the Guadeloupean islands (Marie-Galante, Les Saintes).
DAY 1 : Boarding at Pointe du bout and first navigation to Anse d'Arlet
Hervé will be waiting for you at 9am on the pontoon of Pointe du Bout to board the sailboat on which you will spend your stay. After you have settled in and attended a safety briefing, your skipper will explain the programme of your stay in more detail. At the end of the morning, you will be refuelled with food and drinks before enjoying your lunch on board. You will then head for Anse d'Arlet to anchor for the night. This first navigation will be an opportunity to get a feel for the boat and to get a feel for it.
DAY 2 : Anse D'Arlet - Saint Pierre
After a breakfast in the sun and a swimming or relaxing session, you will leave Anse d'Arlet. A 3 to 5 hour sail awaits you to reach Saint Pierre. Once the anchorage is settled, you will go ashore to visit and enjoy the terraces. In the evening, dinner on board or on land.
DAY 3 : Heading for Dominica
You will head for the island of Dominica where you will arrive after a 6 to 7 hour sail. During the crossing, you will take the helm and participate in the adjustments and navigation, and at the end of the afternoon you will drop anchor in Roseau. Once the customs formalities have been completed, you will be able to enjoy life in the port.
DAY 4 : Free day and visit of the island
You will have free time to enjoy your day on the island of Dominica as you wish. You can opt for a relaxing day alternating between swimming and lounging or prefer to walk around the island to fully immerse yourself in the landscape. Dinner and overnight at anchor.
DAY 5 : Sailing back to Martinique
In the morning, you will leave Dominica to sail back to Martinique. You will set up your anchorage in Le Prêcheur. Evening on the deck of the boat or last dinner on land.
DAY 6 : Le Prêcheur - Pointe du Bout
You will sail along the west coast of Martinique with the objective of reaching the Trois Ilets and Pointe du Bout. After breakfast and a last snorkeling or lounging session, you will sail to the port to disembark around 5pm.
