Set sail from Le Marin, Martinique

From Martinique, leave for a 9-day sailing course in the most beautiful waters of the Caribbean. Head for Guadeloupe where many stopovers will reach you along the way: Grande Anse, Saint Pierre, les Saintes or Marie Galante!

Your possible stops during this cruise

The itinerary is subject to weather conditions, your wishes and the skipper's decisions, and is therefore subject to change.

DAY 1 : Embarkation at Le Marin marina, Martinique
You have an appointment at 10am with Gael, your professional skipper, and his wife, a sailing instructor. Once you have settled in, your crew will give you a briefing on the safety and life on board the boat and the recommended itinerary for the week. After lunch, you will take part in your first navigation which will take you to Grande Anse d'Arlet, where you will set up the mooring for the night.

DAY 2 : Direction Saint Pierre
In the morning, you will leave your anchorage at Grande Anse to reach Anse Mitan where you will arrive after a short sail. You can take advantage of this stopover to refresh yourself during a swim or opt for a lazy session. In the afternoon, you will sail back to the sea to make a stopover in Saint Pierre. Dinner and night at anchor in Saint Pierre.

DAY 3 : Heading for Guadeloupe, a long navigation awaits you
A long day of navigation awaits you for this new stage of the course. Departure from Saint Pierre at the end of the morning to sail to Guadeloupe. It will be for you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with navigation or to perfect your technique according to your level. You will sail at night in order to arrive in Guadeloupe in the morning.

DAY 4 : Arrival in Marie Galante
For this first day in Guadeloupe, you can enjoy Marie Galante and Grand Bourg. You will discover dream beaches, turquoise water and enough to relax after a long day of sailing. No sailing for this day, you will sleep at anchor in Grand Bourg.

DAY 5 : Sailing between Grand Bourg and Saint Louis
Departure from Grand Bourg in the morning with the aim of reaching Saint Louis. For lunch, you will stop at Anse Canot where you can enjoy a swim or a snorkeling session after your meal. In the afternoon, you will set sail again for a short trip to Saint Louis where you will set up the anchorage for the night.

DAY 6 : Direction Les Saintes
You will leave Marie Galante to join her neighbor, Les Saintes. After a navigation of 3 to 4 hours, you will arrive at your destination of the day. You will have the afternoon to take full advantage of your stopover. Free to you to opt for a stroll to better discover the landscapes of the island or to offer you a small lazy session and swimming. Dinner and night at Les Saintes.

DAY 7 : Cabotage around the island of Les Saintes
In the morning, you can enjoy a swim in the turquoise waters of Les Saintes before starting a day of cabotage around the island. On the program, many stopovers to make you discover the unique landscapes that make the charm of Guadeloupe. Dinner and night in Les Saintes.

DAY 8 : Sailing back to Martinique
A last long navigation is waiting for you in order to reach Martinique. You will leave Guadeloupe at the end of the morning to sail to Sainte Anne, Martinique. Night navigation in perspective, with the participation to the watches and especially at night during the navigation. You will arrive at your destination during the night or early morning.

DAY 9 : Discovery of Sainte Anne and disembarkation at Le Marin
In the morning, you can take advantage of your stopover in Sainte Anne to visit its picturesque town centre or opt for a relaxing morning at the beach. After breakfast on board, you will head for Le Marin for a final sail before disembarking at around 5pm. It will be the end of an unforgettable sailing course between Martinique and Guadeloupe.

How to get there ?

Take a direct flight from Paris to Fort-de-France, Martinique (Air France, Air Caraïbes, Corsair). From the airport, take a taxi to the Port du Marin.
