Your cruise

Set sail from Port of Dahouët

Set sail from Dahouët for 10 days of offshore sailing, bound for the Isles of Scilly.
Between Channel crossings, night sailing and life with a crew, this course invites you to experience a complete immersion at sea, discovering an unspoiled archipelago with breathtaking scenery.
Depending on weather conditions and the skipper's choices, the itinerary can continue to the wild coastline of English Cornwall, with its rias and seaside villages, before a possible stopover in Guernsey on the way back to Brittany.
It's an adventure for those who want to improve their sailing skills while enjoying a real maritime itinerary.

Your possible stops during this cruise

This is the indicative program for your 10-day sailing course, starting from Dahouët and aiming for the Isles of Scilly.
The itinerary, stages and sailing pace may be adapted by the skipper according to weather conditions, safety imperatives, sea state and crew progress.

Day 1 - Embarkation in Dahouët and preparation for the trip.
Meet at 4 pm at the port of Dahouët for a welcome aboard, installation in the cabins and presentation of the trip. You'll take part in the provisioning and organization of crew life before departure.
This first evening takes place in port, without any night sailing, so that you can prepare calmly for the crossing ahead.

Day 2 - Departure from Dahouët and first offshore sailings.
Early morning departure for the Isles of Scilly. This first day of sailing will enable you to get to grips with the boat, take part in the maneuvers and familiarize yourself with the ship's organization.
as you move further away from the Breton coast, the course will take on a more offshore dimension, with the introduction of crewed sailing.

Day 3 - Crossing to the Scilly Islands and night sailing.
The crossing continues in the English Channel and then offshore, with a night sailing experience supervised by the skipper. You'll discover how watches work, how to keep an eye on the course and the special sensations of night sailing.
Depending on the weather and the boat's progress, the arrival in the Scilly archipelago may take place during this leg or the next.

Day 4 - Arrival and discovery of the Isles of Scilly.
Set course for the Isles of Scilly, an unspoilt archipelago of clear waters and breathtaking scenery. After the crossing, you can discover this island environment from the sea, between anchorages, island hopping and stopovers depending on conditions.
This day will also allow you to enjoy the rhythm of life on board after the first major sailings of the course.

Day 5 - Sailing around the Scilly archipelago.
You'll continue your discovery of the Isles of Scilly by sailing around the heart of the archipelago. Depending on the skipper's choices and the conditions encountered, this stage will alternate maneuvers, anchorages, stopovers and moments of relaxation on board.
An opportunity to perfect your sailing skills in a remarkable natural setting, before preparing for the rest of the itinerary.

Day 6 - Route to English Cornwall.
You leave the Isles of Scilly and head for English Cornwall. This new route takes you along a rugged coastline of cliffs, deep rias and seaside villages.
Depending on conditions, this leg may involve extended day or night sailing.

Day 7 - Discovering English Cornwall.
This day is dedicated to discovering the Cornish coastline. Between coastal navigation, stopovers and possible anchorages, you'll enjoy a typically British atmosphere and a particularly well-preserved coastline.
on board, you'll continue to take part in maneuvers, boat handling and the daily life of the crew.

Day 8 - Sailing back to Guernsey.
The journey continues towards Guernsey, a possible stopover on the way back to Brittany. This navigation will allow us to return to the waters of the Channel Islands, while continuing to learn the basics of offshore sailing.
Depending on the weather, the skipper will adapt the route and the time devoted to this stage.

Day 9 - Guernsey and route to the Breton coast.
After a possible stopover or discovery of Guernsey, you'll set sail again for Brittany. This last major leg of the trip will enable you to consolidate what you've learnt during the course and enjoy the last sensations of crossing with a crew.
as you approach the Breton coast, you'll be able to take in the scenery of Cap Fréhel and Cap d'Erquy before returning to Dahouët.

Day 10 - Return to Dahouët and end of course.
Back to the port of Dahouët and the end of this 10-day itinerary between Brittany, the Scilly Isles, English Cornwall and the Channel Islands.
After several crossings, night sails and full immersion in life on board, you'll finish the course with a real offshore sailing experience.
