Embark on a sailing boat for a sailing course towards the Scilly islands and the north Brittany coast. Nicolas, your professional skipper and instructor, will be at your side to help you progress and allow you to become autonomous in the practice of sailing, all in a good atmosphere.

DAY 1 : Embarkation at the port of Saint-Malo
Nicolas will meet you at 3pm at the port of Saint-Malo in order to board the yacht on which you will do your internship. After your installation, your skipper will give you a briefing on the rules of life on board as well as the safety instructions to know. Dinner and night on the boat in the port of Saint-Malo
DAY 2 to 4 : Getting to grips with the boat, carrying out manoeuvres and coastal navigation
After spending your first night on board and enjoying breakfast, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the navigation equipment, to learn how to handle the boat, to carry out manoeuvres and to navigate along the coast.after spending your first night on board and enjoying breakfast, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the navigation equipment, perform manoeuvres and learn the basics of maritime English which will allow you to understand and be understood by all in any navigation basin. Over the next 3 days, you will alternate between sailing along the coast or towards the Channel Islands, manoeuvres and theory lessons in order to prepare you for the main stage of your course: the Channel crossing. On the program, from your first days of learning, different ports of call await you: Chausey, Jersey, Herm or Sark.
DAYS 5 to 13: Sailing at sea, between the English and French coasts & putting your knowledge into practice
You will leave the French coast and the Channel Islands to get to the heart of the matter and begin the Channel crossing. The opportunity to put into practice the gestures and tricks that you will have learned during your first days. Nicolas, will make you sail at sea and perform manoeuvres to familiarise you with the boat while improving your technique. He will always be at your side to advise you, answer your questions and make sure that the whole crew practices sailing in complete safety.

DAY 9 : Carrying out the manoeuvres & disembarking in Brest
You will sail to St Malo to reach your port of disembarkation. This last navigation will be for you, the opportunity to exchange before Nicolas on your progress and your points of improvement after a week of intensive training course. After having carried out several manoeuvres, by applying what you have learned during your training course, you will carry out the disembarkation at the port of St Malo around 5 pm.
