Your possible stops during this cruise
You will embark at the port of Kernevel in Lorient, to head west towards the Iroise Sea, along the beautiful coasts of southern Brittany.
You will be able to stop in the transparent waters of the Glénan archipelago or in the port of Concarneau, in front of the amazing fortified city-island.
Then, the journey continues by passing the impressive Raz de Sein or the Passage des Pierres Noires, right at the foot of the Ar Men lighthouse.
After sailing along the Molène archipelago, where a short stopover can be envisaged on the islet Ledenez Vraz, you will dock at Ouessant by anchoring at Porz-Pol, in front of the small port of Lampaul. Once disembarked, you will discover a world apart, an island that has remained authentic and steeped in its own history due to its location and its preserved traditions. Taking advantage of the mild microclimate of the Breton islands, you will walk in a wild and colored moor of heather, callunes, gorse and broom, dotted with low stone walls which gives an Irish air to this land at the end of the world.
After an almost obligatory stop at the Ty Korn bar for a drink or a delicious meal in a great musical atmosphere and tasting of the famous stew cooked under Marie-Jo's mound tasted in the port or on the boat, you will leave Lampaul to go along the north coast of the island and the Keller islet, where you may see some seals.
It will be possible to stop at the Stiff, on the North-East side of the island, before heading back.
As always when sailing, the itinerary is subject to weather conditions and can be modified by your skipper during the cruise. If this is the case, you will decide together on the new itinerary to try to meet everyone's desires! If you would like a cruise of one week or more, please contact us.

Thank you very much! A beautiful, intense cruise, well prepared by our skipper Jean. A very seaworthy, comfortable and well-equipped boat.
Thank you, it was great and everything was perfectly organized.
What a crossing of the Raz de Sein .... On the outward journey, under the sun and too fast! On the way back in a storm... Incredible change! But it's worth the trip!
A pleasant introduction to life aboard a yacht of this size, to maneuvers and to the magnificent Breton coastline. It was a family cruise (3 generations). What a pleasure!
We all appreciated Jean, who was patient and helpful in answering all our questions. He was also attentive to our requests for destinations. He's also an excellent cook.
I really enjoyed watching the dolphins swimming and playing with each other very close to the sailboat, and the joy of my grandsons while mackerel fishing. The aperitifs and evening meals in the cabin were very convivial moments for everyone. The Danet family July 2023
Very nice cruise with respected destinations.
Very good welcome from the skipper and good atmosphere. I recommend
Great week with Jean! Very nice meeting with the rest of the crew. We were lucky to have good weather all week long, to see beautiful sunsets at the Glénans and to go all the way to Ouessant. The yacht is spacious and comfortable. It is fully equipped in terms of navigation. I recommend it!
Jean has a very good skipper, very welcoming and very educational. There were several beginners in the crew who quickly took to sailing manoeuvres. Jean also takes care of the meals, we had a great time! Thank you
Already gone with Jean to Houat I left shortly afterwards to Ushant, excellent cruise! An adventure! skipper boat, teammates, food and decoration ... everything was there! I will do it again without any problem with great pleasure ! This cruise will remain an excellent memory !
Jean always on top!
Lots of beautiful moments! The dolphins that accompanied us for a moment ... magic! Thanks to Jean for allowing us to arrive in Ushant!
The trip :Discovering the Brittany coasts aboard a superb sailing boat was an unforgettable first for us. Leaving Lorient, heading for Ushant, calling in the small ports of Loctudy and Audierne, the charm and atmosphere of Brittany was the appointment. Sailing offshore among trawlers or dolphins on good rock sound in 3 or 4 meter waves remains an extraordinary and magical experience for novices (even if they are not fully moored...). Thank you to Jean and his sailboat for making us feel this sensation of freeze frame in this world so vast and so intimate at the same time which is navigation at sea. Whether during the day or in the evening, aboard the Intrépide one can only enjoy!
The skipper :Jean, in addition to being a very reassuring and cold-blooded skipper, he's a great host, a great cook, a great teacher (when you know nothing about sailing) and a great narrator... He knows how to share his passion in a festive and rock'n'roll way... Obviously the good atmosphere reigns with Jean, whether it is from morning to evening, in the port or on the open sea. In short, we would like to spend more holidays on the sailboat with Jean..
Best memory :Everything...And maybe one day a cruise with Jean heading for Ireland...PS : A comment a little late but which testifies of an unforgettable experience. Amandine and Edouard - September 2019
Jean's sailboat is a sober, comfortable, well-equipped boat: at 8 on board we were comfortable. Efficient and efficient navigation The weather conditions with a blue sky storm and good wind were ideal to discover this magnificent sailing area. From Lorient, via the Sea of Iroise, this island at the end of the world, Ushant, is to be discovered by sail absolutely Do not hesitate any more, embark!
Jean the skipper is friendly, available and a good cook. Whether you are a beginner, an enlightened amateur or a simple enthusiast, he will be able to answer your questions and expectations with patience... And if you like good real music, the sound system on board is up to the task as well as his play list
Upwind sailing in the middle of dolphins against a ZZtop background.
We wanted to go to Ushant, we went to Ushant... Magic... Magic... We paid.... no wind back for 2 days... Good atmosphere on board; all different of course with the desire to spend a good stay each in his own way and respectful of others.
Thank you Jean for your compassion during my seasickness...;) and for these delicate smokes at every meal.
We will have very fond memories of this cruise. And the Sun "Fast" is well named; as fast as it is comfortable. This allowed us to discover the magnificent Breton coasts of Lorient to the island of Ushant in just five days in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
Attentive, professional and good audience, Jean was able to meet our expectations for advanced training as well as those of the other team members. Thanks again to him for his precious help!
Cap sur Ouessant is a really nice cruise, the Brittany coasts are magnificent, whatever the weather conditions. Every evening we stop in a port and can stroll around or have a drink in peace, the organization of life on board is simple, we do things or we don't do them, as you wish. Anyway, Jean watches over everything. There were 6 of us on board (including the skipper) and everyone participated. Nice atmosphere. Intrepid has a soul (the one Jean gives him). It is a beautiful, sporty and spacious boat. PS: advice to future cruise passengers: don't be smart and take the Mercalm that Jean offers you from the beginning... otherwise the day can be very long (for you... and the others!)
Jean is a perfect skipper: calm and discreet, he nevertheless knows how to share his passion for the sea and his boat and introduce those who wish to learn sailing techniques. He is taking care of his guests, special mention for his cuisine: here no pasta/pasta every day. Jean cooks wonderfully well: all organic and fresh (really everything), simple, efficient, delicious. Meals are a real moment of pleasure. Jean is also cool, he is reassuring in difficult moments at sea, he knows Brittany like the back of his hand and has a sense of humour, so cast off, you won't regret it!
My best memory is the arrival in Ushant, at the end of the day, with not very good weather. This island is absolutely magical: we understand better why there are so many legends in Brittany. So there are no fairies, all right, but there the elements speak to you: the sea, the land, the wind, the sun, the moon, the light are as if animated by life and can change in a fraction of a second. So yes, it's magical.
Very good week with a very professional and very nice skipper. The king of onions and balsamic vinegar! We had a great time in the kitchen. Beautiful days of sailing upwind or downwind, with calm or force 5. A close-knit group and good times of fun. A great week! Thanks to Jean and the whole crew.
Very good, very good follow-up. The most important thing is to accept holiday vouchers in order to introduce as many employees as possible to sailing.
Very good times on Jean's boat! Magnificent landscapes:)
Jean shared his experience with us (story of sailing, participation in manoeuvres if we wanted to...) ! Very nice!!!!!!!!
Classic: dolphins who come to say hello;)
The cruise went very well, the route was adapted to the weather conditions, we did not go to Ushant but passed through Guilvinec, off the Glénans archipelago, took a trip to Groix, saw Belle-île from afar and finally visited the island of Houat (a small wonder). The landscapes were really beautiful, and we had the chance to see dolphins up close. Life on board was very pleasant as there were only three of us, including the skipper. So we had some space.
Jean is very friendly, attentive and discreet. You can feel a real passion for sailing and for his boat. He took the time to explain to us how his sailboat works and allowed us to participate in the manoeuvres. Special mention for his kitchen! Jean is a real cordon bleu, he only uses organic products, and a maximum of fresh products. We really enjoyed ourselves, I didn't expect to eat as well during a cruise.
When we were off the Glenans Archipelago, I saw a great shape jumping into the water at the corner of my eye next to the boat. And suddenly, it was a whole school of dolphins leaping in the waves, flirting with the hull. Seeing them so agile in the water was beautiful. This moment was pure magic, I will never forget it.
We had a very good cruise. We have adapted the route according to the weather. The skipper, attentive to our requests is friendly, attentive, reassuring and also makes you participate in the request. Very good cruise on a spacious and pleasant boat and well equipped.
Jean is friendly, discreet and concerned about the success of this adventure. On request, he explains, involves and ensures our safety as much as possible.
