Climb on board with Patrick for a weekend cruise departing from La Rochelle. Your professional skipper will give you an incredible two day experience in the Pertuis Charentais sound. This cruise is aimed at both beginners and experienced sailors. From the old port of La Rochelle, you'll sail towards the island of Oléron to enjoy exceptional panoramic views.
Your possible stops during this cruise
On Saturday morning you'll meet Patrick at 9.30am in the old port of La Rochelle. Once on board the yacht, the captain will explain all necessary safety rules to you, discuss your journey's itinerary and then... cast off! It's time to leave for two unforgettable days at sea! You'll leave the port of La Rochelle which is known worldwide, in particular for its three famous towers. Then you'll sail towards the island of Oléron. To the south of La Rochelle, this is the island near the famous Fort Boyard! In Oléron, Patrick will lead you to discover the most beautiful anchoring spots around the island. You can also disembark to explore on dry land! Take advantage of the extraordinary natural surroundings to unwind. You'll sleep in the port that evening. You can make the most of this to enjoy a seafood platter in one of the small port restaurants. On Sunday, you'll head back to sea to return to La Rochelle. During the day you'll be able to enjoy magnificent views over a dazzling, sheltered body of water. These conditions are ideal for a good introduction to a cruising yacht. You'll return to the port of La Rochelle at around 5pm. Tidy up, clean the yacht, and say goodbye!

Incroyable séjour auprès de Patrick qui nous a fait découvrir la voile avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de pédagogie pendant 5 jours. Patrick a mis un point un programme de navigation très complet autour de la région de la Rochelle (ile de Ré, Oléron, Sables d'Olonne et Rochefort). Nous avons bien profité des paysages autant que de la navigation. C'était un vrai plaisir de voguer ensemble d'île en île, en apprenant à barrer et à effectuer des manoeuvres. Nous reviendrons avec joie!
On vous recommande fortement de faire appel à Patrick! Sa bienveillance et sa sérénité nous ont tout de suite mises à l'aise. Patrick nous a transmis sa passion pour la voile, et c'est un vrai régal de l'entendre raconter ses anecdotes de navigation. Encore merci pour ce moment!

2 day cruise with my daughter; we really had a good time sailing from La Rochelle to get closer to the island of Aix, bypass the famous Fort Boyard and head towards the island of Ré; then the next day, we passed under the arches of the bridge of Ré to see the other side of this very pretty island... Our objective defined with Patrick before the start was very largely and pleasantly achieved!
Patrick is a very competent sailor, but also a very pleasant, kind and patient man, listening to the customer; he immediately understood what we expected from these 2 days spent with him and perfectly fulfilled his mission! A big thank you to Patrick, it is very likely that we will meet again!....

I remember making a course with a compass as in ancient times, hoisting the mainsail, casting off the mooring lines, getting seasick, holding the tiller, tying a knot, redoing it several times, feeling the spray, loving the Oleron Harbour Authority, eating oysters on the boat, loving it....
