Virgil, the captain, will take you to the most beautiful spots in the Lesser Antilles, sharing his knowledge and stories in a cheerful and respectful manner. His fluency in Creole and native French are major assets for discovering Martinican culture and letting him guide you to idyllic anchorages.
Cécile, the cook, will prepare modern, locally inspired dishes for you to discover the fragrant flavors of the Caribbean while you enjoy paradise-like beaches and breathtaking snorkeling
(Upon receipt of your “Preference List”) Provisions consist of fresh, local, and seasonal produce. This allows for three meals a day: breakfast, aperitifs, lunch, and dinner. It also includes soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.
In other words, we want your trip to be a culinary experience as well.
Your possible stops during this cruise
Below is a sample itinerary for your catamaran tour of Martinique, departing from Le Marin:
DAY 1: Boarding in Le Marin and sailing to Cap Chevalier
Virgil will meet you in the morning to board the catamaran where you’ll be staying. You’ll leave Le Marin marina for a short sail to Baie des Anglais, where you’ll drop anchor for the night.
DAY 2: Heading for Îlet Madame
After breakfast, you’ll set course for Îlet Madame near Le Robert. In the afternoon, you can choose to explore the islet and then treat yourself to a little snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters surrounding it. Dinner and overnight at anchor.
DAY 3: Heading to La Trinité
After spending the morning in Le Robert, you’ll set sail for La Trinité, where a relaxing day awaits you. On the agenda: snorkeling, paddleboarding, lounging, and swimming. Overnight at anchor in La Trinité.
DAY 4: Stopover in Saint-Pierre and Grand-Rivière-Prêcheur
Depart La Trinité in the morning for a sail to Saint-Pierre. Once you arrive, enjoy a walk ashore to explore the landscapes that make Martinique so charming. In the evening, anchor near Grand-Rivière-Prêcheur.
DAY 5: Day in Fort-de-France
On this next day, you’ll set sail for Fort-de-France. If you’re lucky, you might spot dolphins along the way. You’ll have the chance to explore Fort-de-France, its large covered market, and its picturesque downtown area. Dinner and overnight at anchor in Fort-de-France.
DAY 6: Sailing to Trois-Ilets & Anses d’Arlet
Set course for Trois-Ilets, where you can put on your mask and snorkel to enjoy a snorkeling session and observe exotic fish and sea turtles. Next, you’ll sail to Anses d’Arlet, where you’ll spend the night.
DAY 7: Coastal sailing to Sainte-Anne and disembarkation at Le Marin
In the morning, you’ll head to Sainte-Anne for a short stop to explore the famous Rocher du Diamant. You’ll depart Sainte-Anne after lunch to reach the marina in Le Marin, where you’ll disembark.
