The cruise

Climb on board Fabienne's yacht for an extraordinary week-long cruise. Thanks to your professional skipper you'll have an unique experience, in total safety, departing from La Rochelle.
Sail on a sheltered body of water, ideal for beginners, and explore the islands of Ré and Yeu as well as France's Vendée Coast.

Your possible stops during this cruise

On the programme for this cruise: magnificent scenery, ideal conditions for a complete yacht experience, and a skipper with good teaching skills who will meet all expectations.

You'll meet at 9.30am in La Rochelle's old port. You'll sail at first towards the north. On the first day, you'll sail in the bay to find your sea legs. The aim is to get to know the boat, your crew mates, and to familiarise yourself with being at sea.
Every day you'll make a stop in a different port. Then you'll be able to make unforgettable trips to places selected by your knowledgeable skipper. If you have any particular preferences, don't hesitate to let her know!

One port you'll call into is Saint-Martin-de-Ré. From this small marina you'll be able to take a trip to discover the inland of the island of Ré.
During the week, you'll also explore Les Sables d'Olonne, the town where the Vendée Globe race starts and ends.

Amongst the stops that you'll make on the cruise, Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie is sure to be one of them. This commune is particularly well-known for its important fishing port which specialises in sardines. You should plan to take a walk around the town centre. You'll appreciate its charm and friendly atmosphere.

During this week, you'll also drop anchor by the island of Yeu. This island, full of charm due to the diversity of its landscapes, will make you feel anything but indifferent.
A true jewel of the Atlantic, this is the farthest island from the French Atlantic coast.
Rent bikes and explore the island! Skippair also recommends that you walk around La Pointe des Corbeaux.

At the end of the cruise, you'll sail back towards La Rochelle to return at around 5pm on Saturday.
