The skipper
Meet Jean, skipper and sailing instructor in Corsica and the Côte d'Azur. Jean has been teaching people how to sail for 20 years. He is still every bit as enthusiastic as ever to embark voyagers to discover, Corsica and the Côte d'Azur, regions that he knows and loves. Jean, always calm and instructive, will introduce you to the special rhythm of life at sea, and guide you towards some of the most untouched spots of natural beauty around.
« Un café d'abord ! ». Of course. Even at sea, it’s important to start the day right!

Aluminum sailboat, resistant and light, atypical and friendly, which remains at the forefront of technology. Equipped with 2 double cabins, it is very warm and well appointed by skipper Jean.
Note, no hot water for the shower. In addition to the bathroom, the boat has an outdoor shower on deck, convenient after swimming.
If cabins are occupied, the skipper sleeps in the middle

A great sailing experience around the creeks and Bandol. We left for two days. The first day in a calm sea where we discovered how the boat works and a second day full of sensations, the trip with Jean went very well, we shared some good moments and met a real enthusiast. To be repeated over a longer period.
Meetings as we like them.
The boat is in very good condition and comfortable, the area is very beautiful and we were able to stop near a beautiful beach where we spent the afternoon and night. However, we regret not having approached the Calanques de Cassis or Porquerolles area during these two days.
Unfortunately not so positive...... When we arrived, there were already two clients on board who proved to be much more experienced. During the trip, he mainly cared for these two clients, although we had expressed the wish to learn some basic sailing skills (Jean being a sailing instructor). We would have preferred Jean to have told us the situation in advance, so we would have known what to expect. We were still able to take the helm at times and had some very educational explanations. Finally, we understand that it is important to keep the boat clean and organized, and that it is necessary to follow certain rules on board. However, correcting each of our movements made us uncomfortable. So we didn't feel welcome.
A great bowl of salty air, friendship and magical discoveries, these are the ingredients of these 4 days. Mix it all together and welcome aboard!
A top organization (prudence, respect, sharing, experience).
Fantastic! During 5 days, alternating navigation and stops in beautiful bays. Excellent atmosphere on board and real contemplative moments. Paradise on the sea....
An accomplished, educational and encouraging skipper. A wonderful guide to explore the region. As for the human point of view: the world would be better off if it looked like John!
Small weekend, good weather on the first day but very little wind. Travel to a nice place to eat and swim a little. Return in the evening to take shelter and sleep at anchor. The second day we drove to a cove, but the weather got a little rough, so we couldn't stay, and set off again to reach the port of Le Brusc. Nice sailing especially on the second day with a little more wind and therefore a little more active participation. Very good organization. Life on board is simple and friendly, very pleasant.
Very professional skipper, very reassuring (it was the first time I got on a sailboat) and taking the time to explain things, even several times if necessary;)In two days, we had some nice discussions..
A very pleasant stay despite the weather conditions not very suitable for beginners in sailing
Jean, our skipper, has been very pleasant company and very educational. We leave rich with very fond memories!
Just delicious! Wind, sun, waves, coves and harbours... a we of lively and safe adventure... The real sailors of the team enjoyed themselves and the less experienced ones took the taste of sailing... The ideal break to get out of the daily life and come back full of energy... Thanks Jean.
Competent, pedagogical, able to adapt to everyone's needs and abilities, reassuring and motivating, he knows how to get the best out of everyone... An exceptional skipper... to follow with his eyes closed!
2-day cruise, with navigation modified according to sea conditions (mistral +++). We made manoeuvres in a tighter area and then anchored for the quiet night. Perfectly organized night and meals on board. Very comfortable boat.
Jean is an experienced sailor, whose rigour, sense of anticipation and meticulousness in preparing for navigation and manoeuvres impressed me. You feel safe, and its pedagogy reflects well its enthusiasm for sailing; its strong, independent personality and its human, not to say philosophical approach to sailing will not leave you indifferent. He is also an excellent technician and connoisseur of the sea. I'm going back, for a longer cruise this time.
