A professional skipper provides passenger transport on sailing pleasure boats. The skipper perfectly masters the maritime law, the technology of the ship and all the rules of navigation. As such, the skipper must be a graduate and have professional insurance. In France, the diplomas awarded are the 200 sailing captain (relaxation cruise) and the BPJEPS (sailing course).
