How did you come to do this job?

1st degree sailing instructor at the National Sailing School (BEES 1) since 1992, I have taught in 3 different oceans for more than 30 years. I am now skipper of my own boat as part of the cruise courses.

Having lived more than 30 years between Tunisia, Senegal, the West Indies and Reunion Island allows me to adapt to each situation..

The arrival of my first transatlantic race, in Petite Terre in Guadeloupe

For you, what is a successful sea trip?

A cruise is successful as soon as I have succeeded in meeting the expectations of the trainees.

Your style of practice?

LEARNING LIFE AT SEA to the VOILE. To gain confidence, it is necessary to multiply experiences. You don't become a sailor in a week, the learning is permanent. It will be a question of taking into account the aspect of the environment in which we live, the sea, and succeeding in observing the weather conditions. After having assimilated that looking at the sea is the key element of any sailing trip, the TECHNICAL aspect will be essential to learn how to sail. Setting the sails and knowing how to read a map will be the second step in any learning process. Moreover, living at sea and with the sea also means knowing how to manage the HUMAN!
