Itinerary for your 2-day cruise to Les Saintes: The Magical Archipelago from Marie-Galante
Day 1: Marie-Galante ➔ Les Saintes (Terre-de-Haut)
Morning (8:00 a.m.): Welcome aboard in Grand-Bourg (Marie-Galante). Safety briefing, settling into cabins, and departure under full sail toward the Les Saintes archipelago. A 2- to 3-hour downwind sail. Arrival around noon.
Enjoy the spectacle of the Caribbean Sea before anchoring in one of Terre-de-Haut’s stunning sheltered bays. Take a refreshing swim and enjoy a lunch at anchor featuring local specialties.
Afternoon: Explore the quaint village of Terre-de-Haut at your leisure: flower-lined alleys, colorful cottages, artisan shops, and the unmissable chance to sample a “mentao” or a “tourment d’amour.” Option to hike to Fort Napoléon to admire the exceptional panoramic view of the bay (ranked among the most beautiful in the world) or rent a golf cart.
Evening: Aperitif at sunset on deck, followed by dinner on board or at a restaurant on the island (whichever you prefer). A peaceful night at anchor.
Day 2: Les Saintes ➔ Marie-Galante
Morning: Tropical breakfast overlooking the sea and a morning swim. Departure for a second swimming spot or a coastal cruise around the islets (Terre-de-Bas, Grand Îlet). Lunch: Meal on board or a picnic in an idyllic setting.
Afternoon: Hoist the sails to begin the return crossing to Marie-Galante, carried by the trade winds. Arrival (5:00 p.m.): End of the cruise and disembarkation at Grand-Bourg with memories to last a lifetime.

This sailing boat has 4 double cabins (one dedicated to the skipper) and 2 bathrooms / wc.

Otherwise, from the Bergevin train station in Guadeloupe, take the ferry to the Grand-Bourg Maritime Port in Marie-Galante; the sailboat is right next to it. The crossing takes about 1 hour.
