Your possible stops during this cruise
Program for your 5-day Channel Islands cruise!
This itinerary is subject to weather conditions and your personal preferences!
Day 1: You'll set sail early in the morning, depending on the tide, then cast off for the island of Jersey, where you'll arrive in the afternoon. Take advantage of the opportunity to get ashore and stroll around to discover its nature, pubs and unique atmosphere.
Day 2: Afterwards, you can make a stopover in Guernsey and its typically English main town, St Peters.
Day 3: Pascal will then take you to much wilder islands such as Sark, bordered by cliffs some 80 m high, where nature is perfectly preserved and calm, not least because you won't come across any cars!
Day 4: You may also have the opportunity to anchor along the coast of Herm, a tiny island that can be circumnavigated in just a few hours along the superb customs path. On board the sailboat, you can take part in all the activities as you wish.
On land, at the stopover, you'll enjoy the moment to the full. As you sail, you can observe the flora and fauna at your leisure.
Day 5: During your sail from Granville to Jersey (approx. 5 hours), on either the outward or return leg, you'll sail along or stop off at the Chausey archipelago. You'll discover its countless islets, which come and go with the tides!
If the Channel Islands are not accessible, you can sail along the Breton coast from Cancale to Bréhat, stopping off at :
- Saint Cast: A magnificent spot on the Emerald Coast, stroll through its small village or, weather permitting, relax on its long sandy beach.
- Erquy: Another Breton village, renowned for its scallop fishing port. We recommend you spend some quality time on one of its 10 beaches, or go for an incredible walk or bike ride and discover the pink sandstone cliffs.
- Dahouët : An authentic fishing town for nature lovers. You can spend a lazy day here, or take an adventurous stroll along the coastal paths.
- Binic: The perfect place for a successful vacation. You'll find what you're looking for: mountain biking, hiking, a visit to the medieval village or the Avant-Port beach.
Continue on to Saint-Quay Portrieux, Paimpol, the Bréhat archipelago or Lézardrieux, offering incredible landscapes and nature.

Great cruise in the Anglo. departing from Granville with Pascal: Jersey, Guernsay and then discovery of the incredible Chausey islands. Pascal is a great skipper and we had a great time aboard Etachon. I can't recommend it highly enough.
Hi Pascal, sorry for the delay but I realize that I had never left a review for the great cruise we did last year with you.
We left for a 5-day tour of the Channel Islands, visiting Jersey, Serck, Herm and Chausey, spending the 1st night in the marina and the other 3 nights at anchor. The weather conditions were rather mild, although we had one day of rain during our stay, and enough wind to sail.
A passionate person who is keen to share his vision of sailing and the world.
jersey 2 times, sark, herm but not guernsey lack of time
very professional, good cook, talkative
arrival on Herm de Sercq with view of the beaches
With weather between sunny and rainy, we visited Jersey, Guernsey and Sark on our cruise. These islands are magnificent and the visits were a real change of scenery, especially when we anchored in the wild little bays of Sark and Jersey, I can totally recommend them. The cruise course went well, we learned a lot and met some nice people, and the food provided by Pascal was also of good quality
Pascal is a seasoned skipper who knows the area and chooses his program according to the sea conditions. He taught us the vocabulary and basic maneuvers with passion. He's a man of character and is very bossy, which I personally think is a good thing on a boat when you want to learn, although it may not suit everyone (especially sensitive people)
Great cruise in the Channel Islands with Stéphane. Between sailing or motoring according to weather conditions and currents, and visiting the islands, the program was very well balanced, with stopovers in Jersey, Sark and Guernsey (ports or anchorages according to the islands). We didn't go to Chausey, as the wind wasn't with us that day! It's the sea that decides 😊 The weather was sunny, the sea sometimes rough and sometimes calm.
Our skipper Stéphane is very professional and a good teacher. He gets everyone involved in the maneuvers and navigation, without getting seasick! Very good atmosphere on board this week. Aperitifs and meals shared in good spirits. Stéphane cooked us some tasty dishes in the evening. We learned a lot about the history of the islands and navigation. I'd definitely recommend it.
Cruise too short (4 days) considering the weather, magnificent stopover on Sark Island however. Pascal is an experienced skipper and attentive to his "crew", with whom you feel safe. Too much food to better adapt to the duration of the cruise and the number of participants
Frustrating 4-day cruise
Despite a very sunny August, we had a week (August 6-11) with a lot of wind, 2 notices of great expenses, including one, with storms that forced us to stay an extra night in Jersey, but it wasn't unpleasant to do a little tourism there. Extraordinary anchorages in Jersey Sark and Chausey and a magnificent return to Jersey Chausey, then Granville, with a lot of wind, two reefs and a reduced jib ( nice sensations at the helm)It is better to have your heart a little hooked but a little glass of rum in the evening and everything starts again...
Eric was perfect, careful, very professional and very nice... Thank you again...
Total discovery of this region of France. We were surprised by the magnificent setting of these islands and the sun. The islands of Sark and Herm are breathtaking. The anchorages are magical and the Anglo-Normans are extremely welcoming.
We had the chance to sail with Pascal. What a man! He was able to make our cruise live up to our expectations, both from a sailing point of view and from the point of view of land and culinary visits. Pascal made the cruise even more magical by ending the cruise with a surprise visit from a dolphin bank just before returning to Granville
The cruise was very nice and so were the other passengers. We all got along well and exchanged contact information
The skipper's name was Guillaume and not Stéphane as initially announced And it's a shame because from the very first moments before sailing out of Granville harbour, Guillaume just took the trouble to explain the emergency instructions in case of a "man overboard"! At the pontoon in Granville, Stéphane (one of the other skippers) explained to his "guests" the name of the boat's elements: tip, mainsail, genoa, spinnaker, balcony, slide, mooring, boom, safety, etc. We had to ask him what to do if he was the "man overboard" and it was almost like that throughout the 5 days we spent together....Guillaume used his terms as he sailed, well sometimes we still had comments or solicitations (not very explicit) before we asked questionsIn short, I don't advise this skipper who has little patience so much about him that he decides in the end that it is him who would put the mooring lines and siding... He doesn't seem to know that we are novices and that we can't know how to do everything quickly and above all well...
What I preferred and would recommend is the island of Sark with a bike ride to discover this beautiful island and its bays
Very nice stay. A big thank you to Guillaume, our skipper, who has prepared a very nice program for us between sailing and hiking in the Anglo-Norman islands

The boat is quickly cramped for 8 people when the weather is not favourable although its capacity is 12 (but without luggage then) and the weather has forced us to give up Guernsey Herm and Sark... The skipper cooks but the food is discount. We would have appreciated a fresh fish for example to soften the deplorable weather conditions and the time spent not sailing... The whole service leaves a feeling of savings... That being said, I have travelled with charming people, seen nice landscapes, sailed, got seasick and as everyone does against bad luck good heart.
Pascal is a professional for sure and you feel safe with him, but as Confucius would have said "If a man has 2 ears and 1 mouth, it is to listen twice as much as he talks"..
Splendid cruise in good company, sailing, tourism, good meals! A must recommend!
Guillaume is a Zen skipper, very reassuring, and who knew how to tell us what to see on the Channel Islands. For the novices we were on board, certainly the skipper we needed, he is attentive and really nice
What good memories!
