Here is your itinerary from Guadeloupe to Martinique:
- Day 1 – Pointe-à-Pitre, Bas du Fort Marina – Ilet Gosier:
Your boat will be waiting for you at 6:00 p.m. at the Bas du Fort marina, a few kilometers from the Pointe-à-Pitre airport. Enjoy a welcome cocktail to get to know the crew, then settle into your cabins. After a brief orientation on the itinerary, safety, and life on board, you’ll set sail for a cozy anchorage in Gosier Bay.
Dinner and overnight stay at anchor.
- Day 2 - Marie-Galante:
After breakfast and a first swim for those who wish, you’ll weigh anchor for a 3-hour sail to the island of Marie-Galante. Nicknamed “la grande galette” (the big pancake), in reference to its flat terrain, or “the island of a hundred mills.”
Marie-Galante charms visitors with its authenticity, laid-back lifestyle, and the kindness of its residents. It’s said to resemble Guadeloupe as it was fifty years ago. In addition to its picturesque villages and countryside, the island offers numerous white-sand beaches lined with coconut palms—among the most beautiful in the Caribbean—and several turquoise lagoons where your catamaran can drop anchor for your enjoyment.
Depending on your mood, you can set out to explore the island, including one of its famous rum distilleries—such as the Poisson Distillery, which produces Père Labat rum, the inventor of the distillation method still used today, or indulge in swimming, snorkeling, and simply relaxing.
Dinner and overnight at anchor.
- Day 3 - Marie Galante – Les Saintes:
After a morning sail, discover these volcanic islands with their incomparable charm. Keep an eye out during the crossing: dolphins sometimes come to play at the bow of the catamaran.
Upon arrival, welcome to the magnificent Bay of Les Saintes, ranked among the most beautiful in the world! Set out to explore Terre-de-Haut, with its colorful houses with red roofs, lively narrow streets, and authentic, warm atmosphere. Make the most of the afternoon by swimming in the turquoise waters or exploring the island at your own pace.
Dinner and overnight at anchor in the bay.
- Day 4 - Les Saintes Archipelago:
This day will be devoted to exploring Dominica. Nicknamed “the nature island,” it is one of the best-preserved islands in the Caribbean archipelago. In Terre-de-Haut, let yourself be charmed by the authenticity of this island with its rich maritime heritage, where fishing traditions are still very much alive. Get a bird’s-eye view by visiting Fort Napoléon and admire the breathtaking view of the Bay of Les Saintes. For swimming, choose your own little corner of paradise between Pompierre Beach with its coconut palms, the wilder Anse Crawen, or Anse du Figuier. You can also rent a bike or sample the famous “Tourment d’amour,” a delicious local coconut specialty, and discover the “Saintoises,” traditional fishing boats built right here on the island.
Dinner and overnight at anchor.
- Day 5 - Les Saintes – Portsmouth:
Set sail for Dominica, a wild and unspoiled island in the heart of the Caribbean! As you sail, admire its majestic mountains covered in lush vegetation, whose peaks are sometimes hidden in the clouds. You’ll arrive in Portsmouth, nestled at the far end of the magnificent Prince Rupert Bay. In the afternoon, set off on an adventure with an optional excursion on the Indian River. Aboard traditional canoes, let yourself be guided through the mangroves and the rainforest, in the heart of an exceptional natural setting where calm and serenity reign. This mysterious river, once traveled by the Kalinagos, even served as the backdrop for some films in the Pirates of the Caribbean series! A timeless getaway to discover all the untamed beauty of Dominica. Return to the ship at the end of the day, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at anchor.
- Day 6 - Portsmouth – Mero Beach:
After a short sail, welcome to Mero Beach on the west coast of Dominica! Enjoy this magnificent black-sand beach lined with coconut palms—perfect for a swim in crystal-clear waters and some relaxation in the sun. In the afternoon, set out to discover the island’s natural treasures on an optional excursion into the heart of the rainforest. Relax in the natural hot springs of Wotten Waven, take a dip in the refreshing waters of the Titou Gorges, and marvel at the majestic Trafalgar Falls. A true adventure in the heart of lush, unspoiled nature!
After this day full of discoveries, enjoy one last dinner on board before setting sail for Martinique. The catamaran casts off for an overnight sail to the Anses d’Arlet.
- Day 7 - Anses d’Arlet – Sainte-Anne:
Welcome to Martinique! Early in the morning, explore Anses d’Arlet, a charming village where Creole houses line a magnificent golden-sand beach. Let yourself be charmed by its iconic wooden pier, its pretty church facing the sea, and its crystal-clear waters—perfect for a swim or a snorkeling session among tropical fish. Take advantage of this peaceful stopover to savor the laid-back Martinique lifestyle.
After lunch, set sail for Sainte-Anne for a pleasant cruise along the island’s southern coast. Admire the passing scenery of volcanic cliffs, wild coves, and sun-drenched golden beaches. A beautiful afternoon to enjoy the enchanting landscapes of the Caribbean!
Dinner and overnight at anchor.
- Day 8 - Sainte-Anne – Le Marin, Martinique:
After a short sail to Le Marin marina and breakfast, you’ll disembark from your catamaran and say goodbye to the crew at 9 a.m.
