Your possible stops during this cruise

Here is an example of itinerary for your Channel Islands Cruise and discovery of the Denon rivers
This program is given as an indication. The skipper reserves the right to modify the itinerary and/or the duration of the course according to weather and safety requirements.

Day 1 - Boarding Granville
You are expected in Granville harbor in the afternoon (departure time will depend on tide schedules). Go to the harbor for refueling and a briefing before departure. Departure at sea and heading to Jersey. Free visit of Saint Helier, the capital of Jersey. Come and discover the most famous points of the island: the botanical garden, the covered market, the museums, the Elizabeth castle or the parish church of Saint Helier in Jersey. Return to the sailboat for your first meal and first night on board.

Day 2 to 8 - Channel Islands and Denon Rivers
During this cruise in the Channel Islands and discovery of the Denon rivers, you will follow the following rhythm: A breakfast on board the sailboat, then departure and direction to the different stops. Free visits of the places where you make stopovers. Night on board and so on.
You will have the opportunity to visit and discover Saint-Peter Port, the capital of Guernsey, the island where Victor Hugo stayed in exile for many months between 1856 and 1870. He bought a house "Hauteville House" in order not to be expelled from the island. Dartmouth was an essential town for the Royal Navy at the time of the Sailing Navy. Now Dartmouth remains the training center and it has become a popular tourist town, especially thanks to the novel by Agatha Christie, who was inspired by her own town to write if you go up the Dart River, you will see the house of this famous author.

Salcombe, a pretty little village on the Devon coast, you can stop and admire Salcombe Castle and its fortification. As for history, Salcombe allowed during the 19th century, the import of tropical products. The "Overbecks Garden" is a sublime garden with a breathtaking view on the river. You also have hiking trails and beaches where you can walk.

Head to Guernsey, where you will cross the English Channel again to reach Alderney. Alderney is also called Alderney in English. The old town of Sainte-Anne has kept its historic French Normandy feel. Around here the waters are tumultuous because it is located near the Raz Blanchard which is a sea passage located in the English Channel, between the island of Alderney and the northwestern tip of the Cotentin Peninsula, in Normandy (France). It is known to be one of the most difficult and dangerous passages in the English Channel, with violent currents and submerged rocks.

to the east of Guernsey you have the island of Sark, known for its beautiful anchorages. Sark has many surprises in store for you, starting with transportation. There are no cars or trucks, but instead bicycles and horse-drawn carriages are available to help you discover the island and its beautiful scenery. Until recently, Sark put an end to the feudal regime that governed it by a referendum.

Further south you will find Gorey, a typical Jersey port overlooked by the famous Montorgueil castle, and its pretty little harbor. Not far from Saint-Helier your first stop.

It's already the end of the trip, 2 crossings of the channel (~12H, including a possible night crossing) you have discovered the rhythm of the watches, participate in the running of the boat during 9 days. Discovered or rediscovered the Channel Islands with stops in Jersey (Saint-Helier and Gorey), Guernsey (Saint-Peter), Sark, Alderney but also on the Denon coast with Dartmouth and Salcombe. But before leaving you there is still the last day, the day of return!

Day 9 - Disembarkation in Granville
For this last day, you will have breakfast on board and then depart for Granville with, if time and weather permit, a short stopover in Chausey for lunch and a swim. Then a return to Granville scheduled between 2 and 5 pm.
