Your cruise
Set sail from the Bay of Naples aboard a comfortable catamaran for a dream week exploring the Amalfi coast and the islands of Procida, Ischia and Capri. During your stay, you'll alternate between sailing, visiting charming villages and sampling Italian cuisine.
Your possible stops during this cruise
Below is a sample itinerary for your Italy cabin cruise on a catamaran: from Naples to Capri. It is subject to change for meteorological and/or technical reasons.
DAY 1: Boarding at Pozzuoli and heading for Procida
Your crew will meet you at 6 p.m. for boarding and safety briefing at Marina Sud Cantieri in Pozzuoli, not far from Naples. Short sail to Corricella Bay on the island of Procida. You'll discover a bay famous for its houses, built one on top of the other in dozens of colors. Procida may not be the best-known island, but it's simply magnificent. Entirely pedestrianized, it will charm you with its picturesque stairways, tranquility and breathtaking views. Dinner and overnight on board at anchor in the bay.
DAY 2: Sailing to Ischia
After a swim and a typical Procidanian breakfast ("lingue al limone", lemon turnovers), you'll set sail for Ischia, the largest island in the Bay of Naples. After about 3 hours' sailing, you'll arrive in the bay of Sant'Angelo and the beach of Maronti. Be sure to visit the small village or the beautiful beach of Le Fumarole. Return to the boat around 4 p.m. for a bay near Ischia Ponte. In the evening, a dinner at anchor under the castle and a stroll around Ischia will leave you with unforgettable memories.
DAY 3: Stopover in Capri
In the morning, you'll set sail for a 6-hour sail from Ischia to Capri. You'll discover the mythical Faraglioni rocks and visit the Blue Grotto, where the water reflects the sun's rays, illuminating the grotto. Sail around the island, passing close to Faro and stopping off at Marina Piccola to enjoy the atmosphere. After mooring, don't miss a visit to the village of Capri, with its narrow streets lined with stores. Dinner and overnight at anchor in Capri.
DAY 4: Discovering the Li Galli islands
Set sail for the Amalfi Coast, where high, colorful mountains dominate the bays of Nerano, Positano and Amalfi. after about 3 hours' sailing, you can swim in the deep waters of Li Galli. The Li Galli islands are made up of 3 deserted islets (Gallo Lungo, Castelluccio and Rotonda), just a few miles from Positano beach. Short sail to Positano. Once there, you can visit local craft stores selling linen dresses, leather sandals, colorful ceramics or the typical Limoncello.
DAY 5: Visit to the Furore Fjord and stopover in Amalfi
After breakfast, you'll head for Amalfi (2-3 hrs from Positano), passing near Praiano and Cona dei Marini. A stop will be made to visit the magnificent Fjord Furore, a deep fault in the rock at the mouth of a steep valley that falls into the sea, revealing a small beach and fishing village. Once past Cape Conca, you'll arrive in Amalfi. Amalfi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is rich in history and brimming with magnificent buildings and museums. Must-sees include St. Andrew's Cathedral, the Basilica of the Crucifix and the former arsenal of the Maritime Republic. Dinner and overnight at anchor in Amalfi.
DAY 6: Sailing to Sorrento
In the morning, take a bus to Ravello (extra charge). Perched on a rocky spur 365 meters above sea level, Ravello overlooks the Gulf of Salerno. It's one of the most famous destinations on the Divine Coast. That's why it's a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and why it's known as the "City of Music". In the early afternoon, you return to the ship to sail to Sorrento (approx. 7 hrs. sailing time). In Sorrento, you can admire the beauty of the landscape and swim in magnificent bays (Nerano Bay or Puolo Bay). Visit the village in the early evening, then spend the night at anchor in the Bay of Sorrento.
DAY 7: Relaxing morning in Sorrento and sailing back to Pozzuoli
Enjoy a final swim in the bay or a stroll through the town. In the early afternoon, you'll set sail for Pozzuoli. On your return sail, you'll pass the city of Naples, giving you the chance to admire the Castel dell'Ovo, Posillipo Hill and the island of Nisida. Overnight at Pozzuoli marina.
