Your cruise
Set out to discover Greece and its Saronic Islands in the comfort of a premium cruise. Climb aboard a spacious catamaran and let the winds carry you to these mythical islands steeped in 1,001 legends... The cruise itinerary includes numerous sightseeing stops, shore excursions, and, of course, swimming!
Your possible stops during this cruise
Here is a sample itinerary for your Premium Cabin Cruise: the Saronic Islands by catamaran from Athens.
*This itinerary may be adjusted depending on weather conditions.
Day 1 - Saturday: Alimos to Aegina (sailing time: approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes)
Your crew will meet you starting at 4:00 PM at the Alimos Marina in Athens to board the catamaran. Once you’re settled in and after a brief safety and onboard orientation, you’ll set sail from the marina. At 6:00 p.m. sharp, you’ll set sail for Perdika, a small village on the island of Aegina. Once renowned for its fishing industry, the village still retains some traces of its past. Take a stroll ashore among its taverns, bars, and cafés, then treat yourself to your first swim in the island’s crystal-clear waters. Return aboard the catamaran for dinner and your first night on the water.
Day 2 - Sunday: Aegina to Hydra (sailing time: about 4 hours)
After your first breakfast aboard the catamaran, you’ll enjoy a morning of free time to explore Aegina. We recommend visiting the ancient Temple of Aphaia, located on the eastern side of the island (accessible by bus or taxi, at your own expense). After lunch aboard the catamaran, you’ll set sail again for Hydra and its Mandraki Bay. Once there, take a stroll ashore through its cobblestone streets and past its traditional houses. A peaceful, car-free destination where donkeys are the primary mode of transportation. Return to the catamaran in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay in Mandraki Bay on Hydra.
Day 3 - Monday: Hydra to Spetses (sailing time: approximately 3 hours)
Breakfast aboard the catamaran, followed by an early morning sail to the port of Hydra, where you’ll have the option to stop for one to two hours. Then you’ll continue your cruise to explore the island of Dokos—an ideal stop for lunch. This secluded island in the Saronic Gulf is highly popular with travelers, particularly for its unspoiled landscapes and crystal-clear waters. After lunch, you’ll set sail again for the island of Spetses. In the evening, treat yourself to a short stroll as you watch a magnificent sunset over this island with its beautiful, grand mansions. Then return to the catamaran for another night on the water.
Day 4 - Tuesday: Spetses to Ermione (sailing time: about 2 hours)
After a delicious breakfast aboard the catamaran, you’ll sail to Ermione. Of course, you won’t want to miss a stop at Aghios Emilianos for lunch and a swim. You’ll arrive in Ermione sometime in the afternoon. We recommend that hiking enthusiasts explore the trail from Ermione to Fournoi. This short hike, lasting about 30 minutes, takes you through the small Katafyki Gorge—a refreshing hike surrounded by nature. Return to the catamaran in the evening for dinner and the night.
Day 5 - Wednesday: Ermione to Poros (sailing time: about 3.5 hours)
After breakfast, you’ll set sail for the island of Poros; along the way, you’ll stop in Soupia Bay for a swim. Lunch will be served on board the catamaran, followed by the rest of the sail to the port of Poros. From the catamaran, admire this town built on the hillside. Once there, we recommend exploring the exhibition at the archaeological museum, visiting the ruins of the Temple of Poseidon, or taking in the panoramic view from the historic clock tower. Return to the catamaran in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay on the water.
Day 6 - Thursday: Poros to Epidaurus (sailing time: about 4 hours)
Sail in the morning to Love Bay in Poros. Enjoy breakfast aboard the catamaran, then set sail for Epidaurus. But before reaching Epidaurus, the crew will suggest a stop at Aghios Georgios for lunch. Ancient Epidaurus, also known as Palaia, is a charming little port in the Saronic Gulf. It’s an ideal stop for swimming. Put on your swimsuit and dive into the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea. Return to the catamaran in the evening for dinner and the night.
Day 7 - Friday: Epidaurus to Alimos (sailing time: approximately 5.5 hours)
Breakfast aboard the catamaran, followed by a morning in Epidaurus, where we recommend visiting the ancient theater. Then we’ll set sail again for Alimos. As always, we’ll stop for lunch and a swim—this time on the island of Anghistri. Before continuing on to Alimos in Athens for our final dinner and night aboard the catamaran.
Day 8 - Athens
It’s already the last day of your premium cabin cruise in the Saronic Islands. Disembarkation is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. at the port of Alimos in Athens.
