Your possible stops during this cruise
With his experience as a professional skipper, Thierry will take you to the most beautiful places for an unforgettable vacation! Your captain has prepared a detailed program for you. Please note that this is subject to change, depending on weather conditions and your personal preferences. Sailings last a minimum of 5 hours, giving you an excellent opportunity to learn or improve your sailing skills.
Tour times may be shortened, depending on sea conditions.
Day 1: Departure from Barneville-Carteret. You'll be welcomed on board between 7 and 9 p.m., giving you the evening off. No meal on board. Night on the yacht.
Day 2: Head for Jersey! Lunch at sea, followed by a visit to the colorful and lively town of Saint Hélier. You can visit the covered market, stroll around Elizabeth Castle and stroll along the beach. If you've got a bit of time, you can push on to Gorey, by bike or bus, to discover Mont Orgueil Castle. Dinner and overnight on board, in the port of Saint Hélier.
Day 3: Head for Guernsey. Guernsey is an island of breathtaking beauty. You can enjoy magnificent walks along the cliff paths, simply stroll through the unspoilt landscapes of the island's lands, or even relax on the beaches. You're free to visit St Peter Port, Guernsey's capital and port city, and Victor Hugo's home in exile, by prior arrangement. Dinner and overnight on board in St Peter Port.
Day 4: Sailing to Alderney. This is the third largest island in the archipelago. Although it is the closest island to the French coast, Alderney seems more isolated than the other Channel Islands. Considered a true paradise for nature lovers, you'll appreciate the superb scenery and lush flora and fauna. You'll also discover magnificent beaches on which to bask, as well as the island's fascinating history, torn between England and France. After your visit, you'll return home for dinner. The boat will be moored on a buoy or anchor.
Day 5: Set course for Sark. The island of Sark is 5.5km2 long, so you can enjoy this paradise island to the full. No cars to pollute you. In Sark, spend the night at anchor or on a buoy.
Day 6: Visit Sark. Before visiting the island, you'll have to climb steep paths to reach the first houses, a hundred meters above the sea. Between the lush nature of Grande Sercq and the wilderness of Petite Sercq, you'll discover La Coupée and magnificent views of the sea and the jagged coasts of the surrounding islands. A real change of scenery for nature lovers.
Day 7: Return to Barneville-Carteret, depending on tide times. It's already time to leave the sailboat, Thierry, and return home with some wonderful memories.

We had an excellent time, despite the vagaries of the weather that forced us to set sail a day later. The Anglo-Norman islands offer a host of magnificent, ever-changing landscapes, giving me the impression of having sailed much further afield: the panorama is sometimes reminiscent of Corsica, or even the distant South Seas, and sometimes of Scotland or Scandinavia, depending on whether the sun is shining or the fog is thickening. Great human encounters with the crew.
Thanks to Thierry, our skipper, for his warm welcome, for sharing his navigation knowledge and for actually sailing whenever possible (90/100 of the time). He was always keen to optimize our routes so that we could make the most of the islands. We immediately felt safe and confident.
The discovery of the island of Sarq, closed to cars and visited on foot under a magnificent sun, followed by a musical evening at anchor in a cove, was the apotheosis of our cruise.
Very nice cruise. The Channel Islands offer a bit of a change of scenery just a few hours from the French coast! Sark in particular, with its very wild side, is absolutely to see.
Thierry is a very pleasant skipper, very professional, his boat is comfortable and works well.
Good mood and generosity on board! Thierry has cooked us good food and we have learned a lot during our sailing. We were able to calculate the tides, prepare our route, learn to steer and handle the sails in complete safety and with a very benevolent eye! Thank you!
At the top!
The Covid crisis unfortunately prevented the discovery of the islands made inaccessible by the English authorities. Heading towards Brittany in exchange. A very nice alternative and well organized according to the contrasting weather (impressive on the boat with rough sea and wind between 25 and 30 knots for a small part of this cruise.
You are yourself in Thierry's company. Simple; nice.
An adventure stay that started with a somewhat capricious sea! Lots of emotions during the first navigation and a change of program to adapt to the weather conditions. We love the magnificent Alderney and its inhabitants.
Thierry, our skipper, is a man of rare kindness and kindness. His extensive experience has allowed us to fully enjoy this stay. Always attentive to our well-being on board, he pampered us throughout these 5 days. A big thank you to this great sailor!
VERY NICE CRUISE, STOPS IN JERSEY AND ALDERNEY. IDEAL SAILING FOR BEGINNERS, VERY PLEASANT LIFE ON BOARD THANKS TO THE PRESENCE AND ATTENTION OF OUR SKIPPER
AN OLD SEA BASS VERY NICE, VERY NICE, THAT WE LEAVE HOPING TO LEAVE SOON AND DO ANOTHER CRUISE WITH THE SAME TEAM.
One too many traps!!!!This never happens but if.......... even to a very experienced skipper!!!!!A trap stuck under the propeller in the open sea, impossible to go and get it so: "RETURN TO THE CHERBOURG PORT WITH THE SAIL WITHOUT ENGINE UNTIL THE PONTON" A wonderful adventure that has passed too quickly
An excellent moment for lovers of sailing, super boat and magnificent destination...
Thierry knows the sleeve like the back of his hand and he is a great professional who takes care of his sailors, a great skipper and a great cook!
My best memory is certainly the return to Cherbourg, at night, 100% under sail because of a buoy stuck in the helice. We finished quietly to the pontoon with the seal... A great moment of sailing!
Sailing, true and sporty, magnificent landscapes, crossings and warm evenings on board, in short a magnificent stay on the Malino, Thierry's boat... If you like adventure, that's where you have to go. Congratulations to skipper Thierry, for the passage of the Raz Blanchard and the arrivals in the Anglo-Norman ports, without any problems and with a smile
Very friendly and very professional, Thierry is THE skipper to choose from Cherbourg. Safety, learning the simple gestures of sailing, and stories of sailors, Thierry brings a total change of scenery and a top-notch sailing experience.
