    Cruises Santorini: 2 cabin cruises

Cruise Santorini : which travel will suit you ?

We all have in mind the cliché of white houses with blue roofs, overlooking the Aegean Sea. This cliché is none other than Santorini, one of the leading destinations in Greece. This small archipelago of the Cyclades is a real Greek jewel, just by its half-moon shape and its famous Caldeira. Thousands of years ago it was actually a round island, with a huge volcano in the middle. Impressive volcanic eruptions were the cause of its present form, dividing Santorini into a small group of islands, with the central part collapsing. Even today, this volcano is still active and can be visited.

Cruising by sailboat from Santorini will also allow you to discover the surrounding islands. Any stopover is good to make in the Cyclades, as the islands are all beautiful and different. Embark with your professional skipper for a week of discovery.

    • Embark on a private cruise if you have already formed a group. During one week you will discover the surrounding islands: Ios, Folegandros, Sikinos, Amorgos will no longer be unknown to you.

    • If you opt for a shared boat cruise you will embark on an active cruise. You will take part in the manoeuvres of the yacht in a friendly atmosphere.

    • Want more? Visit the Cyclades and choose among the many ports of departure whether you opt for a private cruise or a shared cruise

Cruise Santorini : our favorite experiences

The only volcanic island in the Cyclades, Santorini offers a unique spectacle in the world, with a dazzling contrast. To the north, its cliffs over 200 metres high overlook the Aegean Sea. The cities of Oia and Fira seem to be perched on the edge of the precipice. The South with Perissa and Akrotiri are flatter, with some peaks, but just as surprising.

Cruising on a sailing boat from Santorini is guaranteed to be a real eye-opener. Our professional skippers deliver you their beautiful experiences to live in this volcanic island.

    • #1 - Arrival in Santorini by boat
What a magnificent spectacle is the arrival to Santorini by boat! Stand at the bow of the ship and enjoy this magical moment. In front of you stands the 200 to 300m high cliff, and the towns of Fira and Oia. The little white and blue dots you see at the top of the cliff are not snow but houses on the two main islands! And, look how beautiful the cliff is. You can see the different strata of the rock, it's as if you could retrace the history of the island...
    • #2 - Watching a sunset in Oia
The sun that gradually sinks on the Caldeira (crater of the volcano) is undoubtedly the magic moment to live in Santorini. It is an entertainment not to be missed and attracts many tourists every day. It is therefore necessary to arrive early to reserve a good seat! You can also enjoy this beautiful spectacle from a café terrace with refreshments. From the deck of the sailboat, the show is even more impressive with the sun gradually setting on the cliff. What's more, you don't need to arrive at dawn to book your spot, the whole Aegean Sea is yours! Don't be surprised to hear the crowd cheering the end of the sunset, it has become a tradition at Oia.
    • #3 - Hiking from Fira to Oia
For the more sporty, take advantage of your stopover in Santorini to do this beautiful hike. From this walk that connects the two main cities, you will bring back with you the most beautiful photos and memories. Indeed, this 4-hour walk is along the ridge with superb views of the Caldeira, especially the panorama from the Stavros Chapel. On the road there is also the charming village of Firostefani. How pleasant it is to get lost in the maze of cobbled streets! A tip: leave early to avoid the somewhat stifling heat in the middle of summer. And why not stop at a tavern after a few hours' walk? The meal will be even more delicious!
    • #4 - Discover Red beach
In the south of the island, near Akrotiri, you will find one of the most beautiful beaches of the island. As its name suggests, it is a reddish-coloured beach, a symbol of the island's volcanic past. The beach is in fact narrow since a huge red cliff rises, only about ten meters from the water. The beach is not made of white sand but of small red pebbles, the residue of eruptions. During your cruise, head to White Beach, a beach not far from Red Beach, accessible only by sea. The contrast between the two is confusing: the red rock gives way to a white cliff. In the same area you can also reach Black Beach and its black sand, where you can swim in the caves. How about a swim?
    • #5 - Visit the Néa Kaméni volcano
During your cruise, ask your skipper to make a stopover on the volcano at Nea Kameni. In Nea Kameni, you'll step into the crater of an ever-active volcano! With the red floor, you'd think we'd be walking the red carpet... After this small excursion, go to Palea Kameni to bathe in the hot springs, due to the volcanic activity. To reach them, you'll have to jump off the boat!
