As an independent sailing instructor, I’ve been teaching a wide range of students for many years on various types of boats in the English Channel, the Atlantic, and the Mediterranean. I love sharing my knowledge, watching my students improve, and helping them build confidence in a friendly atmosphere.

Being in the right place, at the right time, with the right people, on the right boat!

After many years of experience in cruising and instruction, I decided to become a freelance sailing instructor. Today, I work with boat owners and crews, and I organize courses for a variety of participants. Teaching remains, above all, a pleasure for me.

People describe me as calm, patient, caring, and a good teacher. My teammates appreciate my ability to tailor instruction to each person’s level, my focus on safety, and—apparently—my homemade cookies!

Life on a journey

A trip is a success when the participants improve, gain confidence, and the atmosphere on board gradually goes from good to excellent. I enjoy designing a program tailored to the crew and the conditions we encounter.

I prefer a well-planned, calm, and safe sailing experience. I enjoy teaching maneuvers, explaining sailing decisions, and gradually helping everyone feel more comfortable on board.
