The program consists mainly of sailing. Depending on the wind, weather and the crew's wishes, the itinerary will be adapted.

Your possible stops during this cruise
Marc will meet you in the early morning at the Port of Cherbourg. He'll start by introducing you to the boat, the few rules on board and give you the first navigation tips.
You'll then leave the port and set course for your first destination. You'll be sailing all day. This is a great opportunity to train aboard a well-equipped sailboat under the supervision of an experienced skipper. You'll learn how to maneuver a racing yacht, understand the winds, set a course, use charting equipment...
In the evening, once you've reached your destination, you're sure to stop off at a traditional English pub! Fish and chips will give you strength for the next day.
The following morning, you'll set sail at 8 a.m. and then it's time to head home. You'll arrive in Cherbourg around 4pm after a second full day's sailing.
note: this year, some weekends have been extended! An opportunity to set sail with Marc over a longer period (between 2 and 7 days).

Marc did the job on the boat, put into practice manoeuvring, technical advice, good sensations on board in a strong wind. Thank you for the sports moments.
Nevertheless. I remain a little disappointed on the handling of the weekend, a confirmation was sent to us, specifying the conditions of strong winds, the course was maintained and we could not sail as sold in the description. We even had to do the maintenance for Marc, removing the mainsail that was torn when he returned the day before, to take him to repair. In short really average, a gesture on the price would have been welcome, not even! On the other hand 18€ for pasta and ratatouille in a tin.... This is also average...... Too bad Marc, there are people who go for miles to come and enjoy two days of sailing with you, so when you confirm the course and you know perfectly well that we won't be able to sail as planned, well we're fine and we're moving....
The program announces sensations - we are not disappointed! Sailing at 20 knots on a racing yacht is an extraordinary experience. Doing it to go to England for a pint is even more so. You shouldn't be reluctant to (re)experiment with the bunk or the bed in the living room, but that's part of the experience. Material matter, it's all there. In particular, the overalls and quarter jackets that can be rented for a reasonable price are of very good quality and new. A great experience for those who are not afraid of a little commitment. It goes fast, it goes strong and we still sleep at 10 on the boat. The 5 stars are more for sensations than for comfort (Ritz or Route du Rhum, you have to choose), but they are amply deserved!
Marc is very professional and very friendly. He willingly leaves the helm to those who feel like a racing sailor's soul but remains within reach to reassure or catch up on manoeuvres (which is sometimes useful!). With 1000 racing stories to tell, he shares his passion and stories with you
Crossing the Channel by 35 knots under asymmetrical spinnaker of 150m² - it's not every day! a big thank you to the Skipper - Marc for the advice he gave and the scenarios, at the helm as well as at the n°1 station! Not to mention the friendliness he was able to establish on board ashore!Only one thing to say: I want to do it again!
A chance to sail with him
We can't say everything, we have to live it.....
