Set sail from Hérel Port/Granville

Sail for 14 days across the English Channel to discover the South Irish coast, the Scilly Islands and then the Channel Islands.

Here is an example of an itinerary for this cruise, it may be modified according to the weather conditions, your wishes and those of your skipper.

DAY 1, 2 and 3: Departure Granville then sailing
Departure from Granville around 11 am. Get ready to make this beautiful crossing to the Irish coast. For 3 days, your professional skipper will introduce you to the pleasures and sensations of sailing!
The different navigation techniques and browser jargon will of course no longer hold any secrets for you. You will therefore assist your skipper during this crossing: night shifts, manoeuvres in the middle of the "freighter rail" and road management. You are immersed in his daily life

DAY 4: Fasnet / Crookhaven Lighthouse
After this crossing, you arrive in Ireland and more particularly in Crookhaven. Just before, you will have the chance to observe the mythical Fasnet lighthouse. From its 54 meters high it is the largest lighthouse in Ireland. During the day, discover the typical Irish village of Crookhaven and then stroll along the coast. Landscapes more than magnificent to observe. Dinner and overnight at the port

DAY 5: Schull / Long Island
Set sail to discover Schull and then Long Island. Schull is a small village that makes a living from local fishing. Do not hesitate to stroll through its alleys to meet the inhabitants and their friendly welcome. Take the helm again then direction Long Island. A small island just below Schull, you can take advantage of this stopover to rest and admire the views of the Irish coast. A totally exotic day accompanied by more than grandiose landscapes where nature is the master. Dinner and overnight at anchor

DAY 6: Cape Clear
After a heartwarming breakfast, head for Cape Clear Island a little further south. Lover of grandiose landscapes you will be totally served. The island is endowed with various breathtaking panoramas. For lovers of cultures and archaeological sites, stroll through Cape Clear to discover the ruins of O'Driscoll Castle Castle or the church of Baile larthach. A day of discovery and a walk on this island that will not leave you indifferent. Dinner and overnight at anchor

DAY 7: Castletownshend
This morning, head for the small village of Castletownshend. You will be charmed by its rural side and its mythical castle very well preserved

DAY 8: Baltimore Bay
Escape today on Baltimore Bay, starting with a visit to his village with its colourful houses. Let yourself be tempted by a lunch in one of the restaurants of the small port for a delicious 100% iodized meal. What more could you ask for? Follow with a digestive walk towards Cape Baltimore, which will offer you a view like you have never seen before! Believe us, it is worth a visit just for this spectacular nature. You may also have the chance to enjoy a sunset with a glass of wine and deli meats! ☺ Come home at the end of the day on your sailboat for dinner and overnight

DAY 9: Kinsale Marina
For the last day on the Irish coast, anchor in the direction of the Kinsale Marina. A place combining sublime historical heritage (James Fort), wonderful landscapes (Old Head lighthouse panorama) and local atmosphere. Take advantage of this universe to make yourself full of beautiful memories
Dinner in the evening in one of the many pubs in the area that your skipper will recommend to you to enjoy an excellent Fish and Chips. A last evening under the theme of conviviality and sharing to the sound of traditional Irish music

DAY 10 and 11: Scilly Islands (Tresco and St Mary's)
Sailing at night to reach the Scilly Islands in the early morning. You will stay there for 2 days and stop over on the islands of Tresco and then St Mary's. Sublime site classified for the beauty of its landscapes and its crystal clear waters
You will start by stopping off on the island of Tresco on the first day. You will appreciate its sublime subtropical gardens, named as the most beautiful in Europe. You are now immersed in the Canary Islands, South America and Australia. On the second day, head for the largest island in this archipelago, the island of St Mary's. Relax on one of its fine sandy beaches and relax with a bike ride along St Mary's

DAY 12: Sailing day to reach the Channel Islands

DAY 13: Channel Islands (Jersey)
You have arrived on the island of Jersey at the port of Saint-Hélier. The capital of this island is very "Bristish" in style
There are many things to do on this island such as visiting Fort Elizabeth, the old port, the central market and many others... At the end of the day don't forget to walk to Saint-Aubin until a nice sunset. Overnight at the port

DAY 14: Granville
Return to the port of Granville around 14 hours after 14 days of navigation, discovery, rejuvenation and change of scenery.
